Letter, 18 July 1940, of Lorene Tilford, written from Shanghai, China, to Friends of the Lorene Tilford Circle, Bowling Green, Kentucky. She writes of her enjoyment of missionary work and describes activities at the Triennial Conference for Baptist Young People in progress in Shanghai. She also notes with regret the recent closing of the Burma Road, used to supply China in its conflict with Japan. Features illustrated stationery and envelope, and includes a souvenir bookmark from the Young People’s Conference.
