From March 3rd to 5th, 1967, Incarnate Word College, San Antonio, Texas, in conjunction with the Institute of Judaeo-Christian Studies, sponsored a symposium on "Vatican II and the Jews." The weekend culminated in the conferral of an honorary Doctorate of Law upon the Editor, the director of the symposium, in recognition of his work at the Vatican Council. After receiving the hood from Dr. S. Thomas Greenburg, President of the College, Msgr. John M. Oesterreicher made this "acceptance speech."
