In night time surveillance, there is a possibility of having extremely bright and dark regions in some image frames of a video sequence. Neither the object details in the low intensity areas nor in the high intensity areas can be clearly interpreted. Several image processing techniques have been developed to retrieve meaningful information under low lighting conditions. The algorithm based on integrated neighborhood dependency of pixel characteristics, and that based on the illuminance reflectance model perform well for improving the visual quality of digital images captured under extremely low and nonuniform lighting conditions. Nexus is a magazine that began as an insert in the Wright State Guardian student newspaper in 1965 and has since been published semi-regularly. It began only accepting creative writing, but has since expanded to include illustrations, photography and other non-written art forms. Today, it is published in a digital format and accepts submissions from around the country, though it maintains its commitment to the Wright State Community.

Edith Meserve Rice was a student at Gorham Normal School 1942-1946, and was active in the Alumni Association from the 1970s through the 1990s. The Papers include photographs and other material documenting Rice's life as a student at Gorham Normal School in the early 1940s, as well as alumni news, songs of Gorham Normal School and the State of Maine, and information about Gorham State Teachers College and the University of Southern Maine.
