งานวิจัยเรื่อง กรรมวิธีการสร้างซอสามสายของครูจักรี มงคล มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษากรรมวิธีการสร้างซอสามสายและปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อคุณภาพเสียงซอสามสายของครูจักรี มงคล โดยใช้วิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ผลการวิจัยพบว่าครูจักรี มงคล มีชื่อเสียงในการบรรเลงซอสามสายรวมทั้งมีฝีมือในการสร้างซอสามสายโดยได้รับแรงบันดาลใจการสร้างซอสามสายจากแบบกระสวนซอสามสายของสมเด็จพระเจ้าบรมวงศ์เธอ เจ้าฟ้าบริพัตรสุขุมพันธุ์ กรมพระนครสวรรค์วรพินิต และได้รับคำแนะนำจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านซอสามสายหลายท่าน เช่น ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อุทิศ นาคสวัสดิ์ ช่างจรูญ คชแสง ซอสามสายของครูจักรี มงคล มีคุณภาพเสียงที่มีความไพเราะควบคู่กับคุณภาพของชิ้นงานที่มีความสวยงาม ละเอียด ประณีต คงทน ด้วยกรรมวิธีการสร้างจนมีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตน คือการทำปากช้างบน ปากช้างล่าง ที่มีสัดส่วนเป็นธรรมชาติ คล้ายลักษณะกลีบบัว การทำแกนที่เป็นโลหะสแตนเลส ซึ่งมีน้ำหนักเบาสามารถนำกระแสเสียงและทนทานได้ดีกว่าไม้เนื้อแข็ง การทำคันชักซอสามสายที่หัวคันชักสามารถหมุนปรับได้โดยใช้หางม้าซอฝรั่ง เมื่อใช้งานเสร็จสามารถลดความตึงลง และมีรูปแบบที่สวยงามมีน้ำหนักเบาเท่ากันทั้งคันชัก ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อคุณภาพเสียงซอสามสายของ ครูจักรี มงคลคือการให้ความสำคัญกับความหนาบางของหนังซอขนาดกะโหลกซอสามสายใหญ่และหนา เมื่อขึ้นหนังหน้าซอแล้วจะมีมวลอากาศภายใน องศาของซอสามสายซึ่งรับแรงจากการรั้งสายและแรงกดจากหย่อง การตั้งหย่องและการติดถ่วงหน้าซึ่งมีตำแหน่งของหย่องและน้ำหนักของถ่วงหน้าที่เหมาะสม และได้พัฒนากรรมวิธีการสร้างจนมีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตน คือการทำปากช้างบน ปากช้างล่าง ที่มีสัดส่วนเป็นธรรมชาติ คล้ายลักษณะกลีบบัว การทำแกนซอสามสายด้วย โลหะสแตนเลส การทำคันชักซอสามสายที่หัวคันชักสามารถหมุนปรับได้โดยใช้หางม้าซอฝรั่ง เมื่อใช้งานเสร็จสามารถหย่อนความตึงลง และมีรูปแบบที่สวยงามมีน้ำหนักเบาเท่ากันทั้งคันชัก

วิทยานิพนธ์เรื่องการดำเนินทำนองซออู้เพลงเทพนิมิต สามชั้น ออกกราวนอกภาษาใน วงเครื่องสายปี่ชวาของครูจีรพล เพชรสม วัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษามูลบทที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการดำเนินทำนองของซออู้ในวงเครื่องสายปี่ชวาและการดำเนินทำนองของซออู้เพลงเทพนิมิต สามชั้น ออกกราวนอกภาษา สำหรับการบรรเลงในวงเครื่องสายปี่ชวาของครูจีรพล เพชรสม ผลการศึกษาพบว่าซออู้เป็นเครื่องดนตรีที่มีความสำคัญเป็นอย่างยิ่งในวงเครื่องสายปี่ชวา การบรรเลงซออู้ของครูจีรพล เพชรสม ในวงเครื่องสายปี่ชวาต้องใช้ทักษะขั้นสูงในการปฏิบัติ มีความรู้แตกฉาน บรรลุนิติภาวะทางดนตรี สามารถเลือกใช้สำนวนกลอนอย่างเหมาะสม สร้างสีสันให้แก่วง และสร้างปฏิสัมพันธ์ทางดนตรี ผู้บรรเลงต้องแม่นยำในทำนองหลักและมีปฏิภาณไหวพริบที่ต้องตัดสินใจและปฏิบัติรวดเร็ว เนื่องจากวงเครื่องสายปี่ชวาเป็นวงที่มีแนวในการบรรเลงเร็วผู้บรรเลงต้องมีวิธีในการผูกทำนองเพื่อให้การดำเนินทำนองของซออู้มีคุณภาพ โดดเด่น และเกิดความสมดุลในการบรรเลงรวมวง เพลงเทพนิมิต สามชั้น ออกกราวนอกภาษาของครูจีรพล เพชรสม ใช้กลวิธีในการดำเนินทำนองซออู้ได้แก่ 1. การล้วงจังหวะ 2. การย้อยจังหวะ 3. การโดดเสียง 4. การกล้ำเสียง 5. การย้ำเสียง 6. การรูดนิ้ว 7. การสะบัดนิ้ว 8. การสะบัดคันชัก 9. การพรมนิ้ว 10. การเน้นคันชัก ลักษณะดังกล่าวเป็นการดำเนินทำนองเฉพาะของครูจีรพล เพชรสมในการสร้างเสียงซออู้ที่เป็นเป็นเครื่องดนตรีเสียงทุ้มต่ำให้ปรากฏเสียงดัง ฟังชัด ไพเราะและอรรถรสในการดำเนินทำนองของซออู้ในวงเครื่องสายปี่ชวา

การแสดงขับร้องเดี่ยวระดับมหาบัณฑิตโดย โฉมวิลัย ยูฮันเงาะ : ผู้วิจัยได้คัดเลือกบทเพลงขับร้องจากอุปรากร ละครเพลง และบทเพลงประกอบภาพยนตร์ รวมทั้งสิ้น 14 เพลง โดยคำนึงถึงความน่าสนใจ ความหลากหลายของลีลา อารมณ์ ความโด่งดัง และความท้าทายของบทเพลง รวมไปถึงความหลากหลายของเนื้อหา ความแตกต่างทางด้านภาษา สีสันของบทเพลง และวิธีการสื่ออารมณ์ ผู้วิจัยได้ค้นคว้าศึกษาลงลึกทางด้านประวัติศาสตร์ความเป็นมา เนื้อเรื่อง ฉาก รวมถึงตัวละครของแต่ละบทเพลง เพื่อนำมาเปรียบเที่ยบกับชีวิตจริงของผู้วิจัยและนำไปสู่ความเข้าใจในการตีความบทเพลง รวมถึงการแสดงออกทางอารมณ์อย่างลึกซึ้ง ทั้งนี้เพื่อให้การแสดงการขับร้องในครั้งนี้สมบูรณ์แบบตามมาตรฐานระดับมหาบัณฑิต ผู้วิจัยได้วางแผนและเตรียมความพร้อมทางด้านการฝึกซ้อมตามประเภทของบทเพลงทั้ง 3 อย่างถูกต้องตามขนบธรรมเนียมจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิทางด้านการขับร้องและศิลปินต้นแบบหลาย ๆ ท่าน รวมถึงการเตรียมพร้อมด้านร่างกายและจิตใจเพื่อให้การฝึกซ้อมและการแสดงในวันแสดงจริงเกิดประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด ตลอดจนการเตรียมพร้อมทางด้านสถานที่และด้านอื่น ๆ ที่จะทำให้การแสดงเกิดขึ้นอย่างไม่มีจุดบกพร่อง

งานวิจัยเรื่อง กรรมวิธีการสร้างซอด้วงของเรือตรีชัยนรินทร์ แถมมีทรัพย์ (ช่างนาคร) มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษากรรมวิธีการสร้างซอด้วง และศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อคุณภาพเสียงของซอด้วง ของช่างนาคร รวมไปถึงการเก็บข้อมูลศึกษาบริบทต่างๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับซอด้วง โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2532 ช่างนาคร เป็นช่างที่มีความสามารถในการสร้างเครื่องดนตรีไทยทุกประเภท ได้รับการถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ฝีมือด้านงานช่างและการสร้างซอด้วงจากครูจรินทร์ กลิ่นบุปผา ทำให้มีประสบการณ์ทางด้านงานช่างจนสามารถเปิดโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมในการผลิตเครื่องดนตรีไทย อำเภอท่ายาง จังหวัดเพชรบุรี ในปี พ.ศ. 2548 ในระยะเริ่มต้นช่างนาครศึกษาแบบจากกระสวนซอด้วงดุริยบรรณ และได้พัฒนาสัดส่วนจนได้รูปทรงที่เป็นแบบเฉพาะของช่างนาคร โดยมีจุดประสงค์เพื่อให้นักเรียนสามารถซื้อไว้ฝึกซ้อมในราคาย่อมเยา คุณภาพเสียงตรงตามเสียงในอุดมคติของซอด้วงคือเสียงอ้อ และเสียงแก้ว ช่างนาคร ใช้ไม้ชิงชัน ไม้มะเกลือ ไม้มะริด ไม้กระพี้เขาควาย และไม้ประดู่ อุปกรณ์ที่ใช้มี 51 ชิ้น มีกรรมวิธีการสร้างทั้งหมด 8 ขั้นตอน ได้แก่ การกลึงลูกบิด การกลึงคันทวนซอด้วง การกลึงคันชักซอด้วง การกลึงกระบอกซอด้วง การขึ้นหนังหน้าซอด้วง การทำสีและเคลือบเงา การขึ้นหางม้า การประกอบซอด้วง ปัจจัยสำคัญที่มีผลต่อคุณภาพเสียงซอด้วง คือการคัดสรรวัสดุที่มีคุณภาพตั้งแต่การคัดเลือกไม้และหนังงู การกลึงกระบอกซอด้วงที่มีขนาดรูปทรงที่พอดี การกลึงรูเท้าเหยียบและการบากขอบกระบอกซอเพื่อขึ้นหนังหน้าซอด้วง ซอด้วงของช่างนาคร มีแก้วเสียง นุ่มนวล ตามเสียงซอด้วงในอุดมคติ ดังที่ผู้เชี่ยวชาญทางด้านดนตรีไทยได้ให้คำนิยามไว้

การวิจัยนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาหาความรู้ วิเคราะห์ ตีความบทเพลง และเลือกใช้เทคนิคที่เหมาะสมในการบรรเลงบทเพลงสำหรับเปียโนประเภทนอคเทิร์นที่ประพันธ์โดยผู้ประพันธ์เพลงในยุคโรแมนติกและยุคศตวรรษที่ยี่สิบ อาทิ เฟรเดริค โชแปง โคลด เดอบุสซี และโลเวลล์ ลิเบอร์แมน จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 15 บท ผลการวิจัยแสดงการตีความบทเพลง การนำเสนอเทคนิคการบรรเลง ตลอดจนการถ่ายทอดและนำเสนอบทเพลงอย่างสมบูรณ์แบบ รวมทั้งวิธีการและขั้นตอนการเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับการแสดงเดี่ยวเปียโน ที่จัดขึ้น ณ Tongsuang's Concert Salon and Gallery ปทุมธานี เมื่อวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 6 เมษายน พ.ศ.2566 เวลา 14.00 น. ใช้เวลาแสดงรวมประมาณ 1 ชั่วโมง

การวิจัยนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาหาความรู้ วิเคราะห์ ตีความบทเพลง และเลือกใช้เทคนิคที่เหมาะสมในการบรรเลงบทเพลง 2 บท ได้แก่ Sonata in A major, D.959 ประพันธ์โดยฟรานซ์ ชูเบิร์ต และ Humoreske, Op.20 ประพันธ์โดยโรเบิร์ต ชูมันน์ ทั้งสองบทเพลงมีลักษณะสำคัญคือมีทำนองและเสียงประสานที่ไพเราะ รวมทั้งมีเทคนิคการบรรเลงเปียโนขั้นสูงที่สามารถทำให้ผู้วิจัยพัฒนาศักยภาพในการบรรเลงเปียโนของตัวเอง ผลการวิจัยแสดงการตีความบทเพลง การนำเสนอเทคนิคการบรรเลง การถ่ายทอดและนำเสนอบทเพลงเหมาะสม นอกจากนั้นยังนำเสนอวิธีการและขั้นตอนการเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับการแสดงเดี่ยวเปียโนที่จัดขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 14 ธันวาคม พ.ศ.2565 ณ Tongsuang's Concert Salon & Gallery จังหวัดปทุมธานี เวลาในการแสดงทั้งหมดประมาณ 1 ชั่วโมง 10 นาที

การวิจัยนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาหาความรู้ วิเคราะห์ ตีความบทเพลง เลือกใช้เทคนิคที่เหมาะสมในการบรรเลงบทเพลงสำหรับเปียโนจำนวน 2 ชุด ได้แก่ The Four Seasons ของอันโตนิโอ วิวัลดี และ The Seasons ของปีเตอร์ อิลิทช์ ไชคอฟสกี บทเพลงทั้งสองชุดนำเสนอเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับฤดูกาลต่าง ๆ จากแนวความคิดของผู้ประพันธ์เพลงจากยุคดนตรีที่ต่างกัน บทเพลงดังกล่าวมีทำนองที่ไพเราะสวยงาม มีการใช้เสียงประสานหลากหลายรูปแบบ รวมถึงมีอารมณ์เพลงและความรู้สึกที่เกิดขึ้นเฉพาะในฤดูกาลนั้น ๆ ซึ่งทำให้เพลงแต่ละบทมีเอกลักษณ์และต้องการการตีความเฉพาะบทที่เหมาะสม ผลการวิจัยแสดงการศึกษาตีความบทเพลง และการนำเสนอเทคนิคการบรรเลง ตลอดจนการถ่ายทอดและนำเสนอบทเพลงในการแสดงดนตรีเพื่ออนุรักษ์และเผยแพร่ผลงานอันทรงคุณค่าให้กับผู้ที่สนใจในดนตรีคลาสสิก

การวิจัยนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาหาความรู้ วิเคราะห์ ตีความบทเพลง และเลือกใช้เทคนิคที่เหมาะสมในการบรรเลงบทเพลงสำหรับเปียโนในยุคโรแมนติกจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 4 บท ได้แก่ 1) Barcarolle in F-sharp major, Op.60 ผลงานของเฟรเดริค โชแปง 2) Sonata in B-flat minor, Op.35 No.2 ผลงานของเฟรเดริค โชแปง 3) Images, Book 2 ผลงานของโคลด เดอบุสซี และ 4) Fantasy in C major, Op.15 "Wanderer Fantasy" ผลงานของฟรานซ์ ชูเบิร์ต ผลการวิจัยแสดงการตีความบทเพลง การนำเสนอเทคนิคการบรรเลง ตลอดจนการถ่ายทอดและนำเสนอบทเพลงอย่างสมบูรณ์แบบ รวมทั้งวิธีการและขั้นตอนการเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับการแสดงเดี่ยวเปียโนที่จัดขึ้น ณ Tongsuang's Concert Salon & Gallery บ้านสวนตะวันธรรม คลองหลวง จังหวัดปทุมธานี เมื่อวันที่ 15 ธันวาคม พ.ศ.2565 ใช้เวลาในการแสดงรวมประมาณ 1 ชั่วโมง 15 นาที

การแสดงเดี่ยวขับร้องโดย รัฐพงศ์ ปิติชาญ : วรรณกรรมเพลงคลาสสิกและละครเพลง มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อสร้างสรรค์ผลงานการแสดงทางการขับร้อง ที่มีการผสมผสานระหว่างการขับร้อง จากวรรณกรรมเพลงคลาสสิกและละครเพลงรวมทั้งสิ้น 12 เพลง โดยมีสัดส่วนของประเภทเพลง ในการแสดงครึ่งต่อครึ่ง ผู้วิจัยได้คัดเลือกบทเพลงร้องจากวรรณกรรมเพลงคลาสสิกเป็นจำนวน 6 เพลง โดยมีทั้งบทเพลงที่มีเนื้อร้องภาษาอิตาเลียน และภาษาเยอรมัน และอีก 6 เพลง จากบทเพลงร้องวรรณกรรมละครเพลง โดยผู้วิจัยได้คัดเลือกจากบทเพลงที่มีชื่อเสียงโด่งดัง ทั้งบทเพลงที่ใช้ภาษาอังกฤษและภาษาไทย เนื่องด้วยบทเพลงที่ได้คัดเลือกมานั้น มีความยาก และมีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัว จึงต้องศึกษาและวิเคราะห์เพื่อให้เกิดความเข้าใจอย่างถ่องแท้ ในด้านเทคนิคการขับร้อง ภาษา แนวปฏิบัติสังคีต และการตีความเพลง จากหนังสือ ตำรา และบทความที่เกี่ยวข้องรวมถึงรายละเอียดทางของส่วนดนตรีที่บรรเลงประกอบการร้อง เพื่อให้ผู้วิจัยสามารถเลือกใช้วิธีการการขับร้องต่าง ๆ ได้เหมาะสมตามลักษณะเพลงมากที่สุด และเพื่อให้สามารถสื่อสารกับผู้ฟังได้ตรงกับจุดประสงค์ทางดนตรีของเพลงมากที่สุดทั้งสองประเภท

บทประพันธ์เพลง “สารธารแห่งชีวิต” สำหรับวงออร์เคสตรา เป็นบทประพันธ์ประเภทดนตรีพรรณนา ที่ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากวิถีชีวิตของผู้คนริมฝั่งแม่น้ำที่มีวัฒนธรรมอันเป็นเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะของตนเอง โดยเฉพาะวัฒนธรรมทางด้านดนตรีที่มีความเกี่ยวข้องกับกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ที่อาศัยอยู่ในพื้นที่นั้น โดยใช้แม่น้ำสำคัญของทั้งสี่ภูมิภาคในการเชื่อมโยงวัฒนธรรมประเพณีและอัตลักษณ์ที่สำคัญของแต่ละภาคเข้าด้วยกัน แบ่งออกเป็น 4 กระบวน รวมเวลาในการบรรเลงทั้งสิ้น 24 นาที โดยแต่ละท่อนจะมีชื่อเรียกตามชื่อแม่น้ำของแต่ละภาค ได้แก่ ตาปี มูล แม่ปิง และเจ้าพระยา นำมาเป็นจุดเชื่อมโยงในการนำเสนอดนตรีพื้นบ้านลุ่มแม่น้ำ ที่มีกลิ่นอายของวิถีชีวิตของผู้คน ผ่านรูปแบบการประพันธ์ดนตรีสำหรับวงออร์เคสตราขนาดใหญ่แบบตะวันตกผสมกับเครื่องดนตรีพื้นบ้านจากแต่ละภาค ที่มีการใช้เทคนิคการประพันธ์ดนตรีร่วมสมัยเข้ามาผสมผสานกับทำนองของเพลงไทย เช่น การปรับทำนอง(Thematic Transformation) การใช้ระบบโมด(Mode system) การแปรทำนอง(Variation) และเทคนิคอื่น ๆ เพื่อสร้างบรรยากาศและทำให้บทเพลงมีสีสันที่หลากหลายขึ้น แต่ยังคงไว้ซึ่งลักษณะสำคัญของดนตรีพื้นบ้านอย่างสมบูรณ์

This study examines recruitment and retention in Division One (D1) university marching bands, while understanding high school and university directors’ perspectives and impact on student choice. This project surveyed university band directors, seeking commonalities for recruiting and retention of instrumental students. Based on the results, universities will have better strategies on what, how, and why recruitment and retention issues should be addressed. Student enrollment is important to the well-being, development, and continuity of marching band programs. Classical Aboriginal culture in Australia consists of many different kinds of ceremonies, including travelling ceremonies that are often shared across linguistic and geographical boundaries. Each of these ceremonies is made up of dozens of different verses. Perhaps the most widely known travelling ceremony is one referred to in some areas as ‘Wanji-wanji’. This was known over half the country and dates back at least 170 years, as evidenced in eleven legacy recordings and fieldwork interviewing more than 100 people across the western half of Australia. The octatonic pitch set can be found in the works of many composers since the early nineteenth century, often with different characteristics of the pitch set being exploited by the composers. Much of the literature on octatonicism relates to specific instances in compositions or a specific composer’s approach to it rather than exploring octatonicism from a more holistic perspective. The development of the concert marimba and invention of the vibraphone in the twentieth century was accompanied by a concomitant growth in repertoire for each instrument. Both belong to the core instrumentation of many new music groups, and percussionists are at times required to perform the instruments simultaneously, combining their distinct timbral personalities.
