案例與例外 : 十三妹作為香港專欄作家 = Hong Kong Columnist Shi San Mei : An (Exceptional) Case Study, Sin Piu Fan
Journal of Modern Literature in Chinese 現代中文文學學報
香港專欄作家十三妹在一九五○年代末突然冒起，以隨筆、漫談吸引了大量讀者。她從來不與報紙編輯或其他專欄作家見面，因而予人神秘之感；但她又在專欄里坦然自述身世和生活，恣意批評政治、社會、文化各方面的現象，樹敵無數。十三妹以寫作為生，卻自言與同行格格不入，本文嘗試利用十三妹專欄裏的豐富材料，勾勒五、六○年代香港職業寫作人的形態，並通過十三妹涉及的紛爭，探討當時文學圏裹的權力關係。

從人到書，從書到人 : 對文學課本的反思與期望 = From Man To Book, And Book To Man : Reflections And Expectations Towards Literary Textbooks, Ka Kui Lee

作者認為文學是教育中不可缺少的成分，它可説是社會、文化與人的「情感教育」。若果一個社會對文學教育不夠重視，它或會因此而有所缺失，甚至乎會喪失「集體回憶」。不同地區的文學教育的表達或體現可以是多形式，包括獨立課程，如香港，或融入語文課程之內，如內地及台灣。教材出版，則是體現課程、展現課程的工具，用以協助教與學，因此兩者的關係極為密切。已故的出版家及社會語言學家陳原曾著有一書：《書和人和我》（1994），以出版人的身份去談書與人的關係，以及彼此間的種種聯想與抒發。從來出版人的終極關心都是文化和人，作者在此書的啟發下，去思考文學教育的發展，並嘗試借用陳原的説法，從人出發。從人去看書，看人需要怎樣的書；再從書去看人，看書怎樣可形塑人。

尋求新路向 :《海光文藝》研究 = In Search Of New Direction : Research On Hai Guang Literature, Wing Mui Cheung

要了解香港文學的發展，除了研究文學作品以外，其他如文藝雜誌、出版機構、作家社團等，都對作品的產生和流傳有重要的影響。不同出版機構編印的刊物，往往因應不同編輯方針而呈現相異的風貌，創作風格相類的作家，也容易因投稿或辦刊物的關係，凝聚成不同的社團或文學流派，這些文學作品以外的現象，與文學發展有千絲萬縷的聯繫。因此，筆者嘗試以一份文藝雜誌、——《海光文藝》為切入點，探討雜誌與文藝思潮發展的關係。由於本文以文藝雜誌為研究對象，因此不擬在文中作詳細的作品分析，筆者會集中討論刊物的整體特色，探討其創辦動機及編輯方針如何影響刊物的風格，再透過與其他同期刊物比較，看它在香港文學發展歷程中的地位和影響，希望透過《海光文藝》，看一九六〇年代中後期香港文學發展的一個側面。

起源及其變體 : 香港作家、香港文學與香港新詩 = The Origin And Its Variant : Hong Kong Writers, Literature And Poetry, Chi Tak Chan

在現代文學的研究當中，中國作家和台灣作家的定義問題沒有很大爭議，但當人們討論香港作家或香港文學時，往往在定義及相關爭議上糾纒不清，「香港作家」尤其是一個經常受質疑的概念。香港作家往往要為自己的身份和「香港」的合法性自辯，其間又會發現簡單的居民身份，如是否擁有香港身份證等實不足以界定「香港作家」。筆者過去在研究香港文學的過程中，除了史料的發掘和整理之外，首先處理的也是定義和身份的界定，期間覺察一個頗為關鍵的問題，就是在不同年代，香港作家、香港文學與香港新詩的意涵並非固定。本文把問題上溯至一九二、三〇年代，透過回顧早年香港作者對「香港文壇」、「香港詩歌」及相關問題的討論，嘗試在地理或地域的意涵以外，從文學觀念的起源及其變體上，重思香港作家、香港文學與香港新詩的構成。

香港短篇小說中的「北方記憶」與「革命想像」 = Remembering The North And Imagining The Revolution : Hong Kong Short Stories, Zidong Xu

本文試圖重新閱讀一九七〇到九〇年代四篇香港短篇小說，以討論香港小中「北方記憶」和「革命想像」之異同。所謂「北方記憶」泛指一些南來作家對「前半生」社會及生活狀況的記憶、記錄或遺忘情況。「大陸前半生」通常要靠「香港後半生」才能梳理，但也同時會影響制約「香港後半生」的生態心態。所謂「革命想像」則泛指早年來港或在本港土生土長作家們對北方中國革命 （尤其是「文化大革命」） 的非感性經驗，這些有關中國革命的想像方式不僅為香港故事提供邏輯前因，而且更重要的是香港故事同時又為這些中國革命困局找出頗有創意的解決方案。

這篇拙文擬討論香港與台灣之間的文學因緣，由於論述對象有其特殊性，所以下文中有部分我會依學術慣例撰寫，而其他一一尤其涉及當代者——我則可能得跳出此一規範，由個人的經驗出之，回憶色彩可能重了些。此外，撰寫前我讀到了鄭樹森著《從諾貝爾到張愛玲》，後來又翻了梁秉鈞著《香港文化空間與文學》與單德興剛剛發表的〈冷戰時代的美國文學中譯：今日世界出版社之文學翻譯與文化政治〉，因三者都有專文——或本身即為專文——涉及香港與台灣之間的文學關係，而且各個寫得面廣而度深，是以除了徵引上的必要外，我也會盡量避開三氏業已談過者，一切但以個人管見所及為主。崔顥既已題了詩，眼前之景，我怎道得？

Writing and publishing literature for children and young adults has become a rhizomorphic entity. There are thousands of books published each year. When you compare that to the little over two hundred stories Perrault and the Grimm brothers recorded you can see how the market has substantially grown.
