The present article discusses the ways for improving the quality and effectiveness of the process of teaching children of primary school age. In particular, aspects such as the development of cognitive and meta-cognitive strategies for the development of conscious understanding of self-learning process. The development of a meta-language and a conscious thought (thinking) process to analyze self-learning process are considered. Some examples provided in this article are taken from the Kid’s English to illustrate the development of cognitive and metacognitive strategies in primary school.

The article considers the role of morphophonological elements such as stress, alternation of phonemes in the choice of suffixes in the deminutative word formation, and the nature of the relationship between them. It is traditionally believed that Russian word formation is agglutinative, since the affix dominates, and the stress and alternation of phonemes are subordinate to it. This thesis examines the pedagogical usefulness of the antithetical reading model of textual deformation for the study of poetic works. No formal pedagogical plan exists for the education of students in poetic studies through textual deformance. This thesis does not go as far as structuring one in its entirety. Since 2007, California State University, Long Beach has developed and offered courses that highlight students’ pre-existing linguistic repertoires in English and in the Romance languages. These courses are unique in that they build upon a multilingual base for the acquisition of new languages through the method of intercomprehension. As an approach that moves among languages, Intercomprehension places learners in conditions that are conducive to translanguaging and translation. This study adopts the Cognition Hypothesis to examine the effects of task complexity, (+/- causal reasoning demand) and task condition (individual, dyadic and triadic groupings) on the L2 individual writing and peer interaction. A 2 (Task Complexity) x 3 (Task Condition) repeated-measures ANOVA (RM-ANOVA) research design, was employed on 36 Malaysian university students. Six argumentative topic-based written texts were produced by each participant in each of the three sessions.
