Also includes maps and index. Special Collections copy lacks folded map. The copy has inscription: Presented to John Lusadder by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Geo Nelson, New years 1892.

Roberts fears that the Yankees have control of much of Tennessee, as well as Savannah and therefore prospects are not bright for the Confederates.
