The archive and the historian are symbiotically dependent on one another. The archive relies on the historian to make use of the records it houses, and the historian looks to the archive to reconstruct history. But can a historian responsibly reconstruct history when the archive is fraught with relativity and bias? This thesis serves two purposes; one, pulling from seminal archival science and collections management texts, it chronicles the monumental, intellectual changes to American archival sciences, theories, and institutions, and two, it shows how these early conversations pertaining to archival theories are both not far removed from digital preservation efforts …

This study examines the local public perception towards the intention to conserve the heritage buildings and sites in the city area. Geological Origins Of The Ridley Creek Valley Landscape And Its Influence On Human Land Use, Walt Cressler

Ridley Creek is a 24-mile long tributary of the Delaware River located in southeastern Pennsylvania. Its geological history has determined the topography of its watershed. The rolling Piedmont hills along most of its length, and the flat Coastal Plain at its confluence with the river have profoundly influenced the history of human land use within this landscape.

This capstone project includes two major components: an interactive digital map that displays the geographical distribution of Chinese language programs in colleges and universities in the United States, their program starting years, the types of such universities and colleges, and their names and states; and a multimedia essay on the evolution of Chinese language pedagogy in colleges and universities in the United States. Data has been collected on the program start year, school names, states where schools are located, school types, and whether the school had been funded by two federal sponsored language programs: the National Defense Education Act in …
