SCAR was formed by several student groups at UTEP to expose and fight alleged racism in the Student Senate and in other areas of the University. Among the organizations present were MeCha, MAYA, Chicano Pre-Law Society, and the Arab Student Organization. This recording includes statements read and a skit presented on campus.
