The problem of this thesis may be stated in four questions: (1) To what extent are "Fast Offerings" paid by the membership of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? (2) What changes, if any, have occurred in the amounts of these fast offerings paid over the years 1916 to 1936, inclusive?
