Publication of the Department of History's 'China and the Far East' lectures from Clark University's historic 1909 conference. There were nineteen sessions in total, with lectures and papers from forty-five experts. The conference, which took place September 6th through September 19th, was a celebration of the institution's twentieth anniversary featuring lectures, discussions, and demonstrations from prominent scientists and scholars across the physical, biological, and social sciences.
