6 volumes ; in 6 cases. Title from spine. A collection of plaster casts (medallions), which were based on neoclassical cameos or engraved gems, mounted within simulated book bindings. Each volume has the title "Liberotti impronte", is numbered, and has the word "musei" on the spine. In addition, each volume has a list of contents glued to the front and back covers entitled "Opere scelte." Many of the casts depict masterpieces located in Italian museums including sculpture by Canova and Thorvaldsen; and also paintings such as Leonardo's Last Supper or works by Caracci.
