The documentation tries to capture the life of Holocaust survivor Otto Heimann/Bob Hyman who spent his youth in Bochum-Langendreer, Germany, and was forced by the National Socialists to leave parents, home, and country. The documentation does not claim to give a full picture, just an insight into Otto Heimann's/Bob Hyman's life.

It will be read out on June 6, 2023 in Bochum, Germany when a Stolperstein, a stumbling stone, will be place near Alte Bahnhstraße 6 in Bochum-Langendreer, Germany, to commemorate Otto Heimann/Bob Hyman, so that we and future generations may learn from history.

Die Berliner Buchbinderei W. Collin mit ihren Leitfiguren Wilhelm und Georg Collin, die letzten Hofbuchbinder zu den preußischen Königen und deutschen Kaisern, sowie der Antiquar, Schriftsteller und Redakteur Ernst Collin, zählten zu den bedeutendsten Persönlichkeiten der deutschen Buchbinderei von Mitte des 19ten Jahrhunderts bis in die 1930er des 20ten Jahrhunderts. In dieser Zeit erlebte die Buchbinderei infolge der industriellen Revolution eine Umstrukturierung von kleinen Handwerksbetrieben zu Großbuchbindereien. Article (in German) provides biographical details about the life of Ernst Collin, son and grandson of Prussian and German court bookbinders, who was one of the leading writers in the field of bookbinding and the history of the book in the period between the World Wars.

On April 1, 2014 two Stolpersteine (Stumbling Blocks) were laid to memorialize Ernst Collin and his wife Else (nee Cronheim) in front of the entrance to their home at Cicerostr 61 in Berlin.
