This article takes stock of a reflection on the different isotopic relationships woven in the song of women eṣ-ṣeff by Aît Znassen. This reflection is essentially based on the analysis of five isotopies, namely generic, specific, mixed, inherent and afferent isotopies. The study of these isotopies has shown that, although they have points in common insofar as they are all based on the recurrence of one or more semes, they have, in exchange, points of divergence, due to the fact that each of them has a property that distinguishes it from other isotopies. This thesis examines the question of national belonging in autobiographical narratives of second-generation immigrant métisse women. I study the similar aesthetic manner in which individuals with different regional and cultural influences grapple with concepts of identity, gender, racism, exile, and negotiation, and the way in which the authors anchor themselves in a broader familial and national heritage. I argue that such an enterprise can be understood as part of the alternative heritage wave, based on Andrew Higson’s theory. The texts put in question traditional understandings of nation. • Enhanced film analysis for less popular films in various countries and languages
• Cultural preservation and lowered linguistic boundaries in film
• Potential for future statistical analysis to determine correlation between social themes and popularity of films
• Broader implications for the film industry and film studies

My hypothesis was that GenAI would be able to accurately analyze important social themes in niche French films.

The historical viewing of women artists, in conjunction with Mary Cassatt’s biography and later depictions of women and children, suggests that Cassatt's gender is identified within the art historical canon as an essential component to the interpretation of her work. The language attached to Cassatt's work is most often taken from discourses surrounding female-produced artwork of the nineteenth century, attaching passive and stereotypically feminine attributes like 'delicate,' 'light,' and 'tender' to the style, composition, and subjects of her works. These characteristics were among the accepted nineteenth-century descriptions of artworks, with inherent femininity translating to inherent domesticity.

This study examines the lives of female indentured labourers from Java and India, as portrayed in Liliane Saintomer's La Bayou de Nouméa à Jakarta (2016) and Gaiutra Bahadur's Coolie Woman (2013). Both authors, grandchildren of the central characters, offer personal and historical insights. The research explores how these novels enhance our understanding of the complex identities and lived experiences of female indentured labourers in colonial contexts. It investigates memory as a site of resistance, reclaiming silenced narratives and addressing the shared struggles of Javanese and Indian women in plantation life.
