En 2005 se aprobó en España la Ley 13/2005, de 1 de Julio, por la que se modifica el Código Civil en material de derecho a contraer matrimonio, dando pie al matrimonio legal entre personas del mismo sexo. This Article discusses how, through its juridical apparatus, the Spanish dictatorship of Francisco Franco sought to define and to contain homosexuality, followed by examples of how underground queer activism contested homophobic laws. ...
