This review uses film examples to argue for both the documentary's accomplishments and limitations As a film that features multiple stories from a variety of athletes and coaches in different sport fields, it is not only an alternative, visual learning tool for students, but also a potential vehicle to pursue justice and sexual abuse prevention aims.

Spurred by a desire to explore queer rhetoric through interactive forms of media, this project analyzed the game-making program Twine to uncover how independent queer creators use the tool to explore queer survival against time, capitalism, and constrained identities. A more accessible platform than other game-making tools, Twine’s unique interactivity puts the ability to make interactive games and stories into the hands of indie marginalized creators who are often overlooked in both mainstream gaming and queer rhetorics (Anthropy, 2012). This study focuses on how recent female graduates navigate organization assimilation at their entry-level positions in China. This group of people could encounter more hardships when building up their careers, given that the workplace is full of gender biases in general. By interviewing five young women, who possess an entry-level position and graduated recently from university, the study attempts to uncover how young female professionals understand issues such as inflated expectations for the workplace, interactions with supervisors and colleagues, and work/life balance. The makeover montage trope is one of the most recognizable in media content aimed at young women, sending the message that social status and acceptance are only a new outfit and face of makeup away. As the first shaving company to show women's body hair, Billie appears to be challenging traditional binary gender norms in advertising with a new mode called "post-gender advertising." Analyzing Billie’s 2018 ad "Project Body Hair," I argue that traditional/binary gender performances compete with post-gender/nonbinary performances, reinforcing essential femininity norms while appearing to resist them.

Women make up a majority of the public relations industry, but they are less likely to hold leadership positions. This study examined best practices to advance women in public relations. Through a cross-case analysis of two male allyship programs in the workplace, four themes were found: Listening to Women, Leaders Working Together, Not Just a Women’s Issue, and how Overcoming Gender Biases Leads to Unbiased Training. Then, a best practice guide and training plan were developed for how to promote an environment of gender equality in the public relations industry.

The women’s journals published in Urdu during the first decades of Pakistan were vital to understanding the middle-class aspirations for a new national identity, since independence raised concerns among the dutiful citizens for the reformation of the new society, particularly concerning private lives. The writers and readers of these journals belonged to a generation whose lives and ideas had been formed by the Muslim reform literature of late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. This study examines the frequency and nature of Black female representation in Netflix Original films and series released during the COVID-19 pandemic year of 2020. As cinema closures drove audiences to streaming platforms, Netflix emerged as the dominant media outlet, raising important questions about how the platform depicted Black women during a year defined by both pandemic isolation and heightened calls for racial justice following the deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor.
