This study aims to analyze the application of the 12 principles of animation, the construction of national identity, and audience interpretations of the animated film trailer Merah Putih: One for All. A qualitative approach was employed through scene-by-scene audiovisual analysis of the 2-minute, 2-second trailer published on the YouTube channel @perfikitv and reception analysis of 15 comments purposively selected from X. The analytical framework combines Thomas and Johnston’s 12 principles of animation with Stuart Hall’s encoding/decoding theory. Presupposition has traditionally been examined as a semantic phenomenon, although its functions in everyday communication extend beyond truth-conditional meaning. This study aims to examine presupposition as a pragmatic phenomenon, particularly how speakers use implicit assumptions to manage information, influence interpretation, and negotiate common ground. Using a literature review approach with qualitative thematic synthesis, the study examines 13 studies published between 2011 and 2026, identified through academic literature searches involving Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar. This study describes the development of Banyuwangi dance movements and the elements of posture, movement, rhythm, and tempo in Sasanjung, a dance choreographed by Ragiel Alfan at Kuwung Wetan Dance Studio in Banyuwangi Regency. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and interviews with five informants: the choreographer, a dancer, the studio owner, a musician, and a local cultural expert. Basanan is a musical repertoire from Banyuwangi associated with the oral traditions of the Using community. This study aims to analyze the musical arrangement of Basanan performed by Jazz Patrol Kawitan Banyuwangi, focusing on melody, harmony, rhythm, structure, dynamics, and instrumentation. A qualitative descriptive-analytical approach was employed, using audiovisual performance recordings, musical transcriptions, interview data, and relevant literature. The analysis involved repeated observations, identification of musical elements, and interpretation of their relationships within the arrangement. This study examines Jompet Kuswidananto’s installation artworks as spaces that represent traumatic memory through bodily engagement and audience participation. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach informed by Maurice Merleau-Ponty’s phenomenology and Claire Bishop’s perspective on participatory aesthetics. Data were collected through interviews with the artist and participants and through document analysis. The analysis focuses on two works, On Paradise #2 and Subterranean Thunder #1, selected for their relevance to traumatic memory, aesthetic experience, and audience participation. This study examines the user interface (UI) designs of Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves and explores Generation Z players' perceptions of their visual and functional characteristics. Employing a descriptive qualitative comparative approach, data were collected through direct game observation, interface documentation, semi-structured interviews, and open-ended questionnaires involving five Generation Z players domiciled on Java Island, Indonesia. This study examines objective and formal introversion as an analytical framework for understanding the visual organization of 12th–13th-century CE (6th–7th centuries AH) glazed ceramics from Bamiyan within the broader cultural context of medieval Khurasan. While previous scholarship has extensively addressed the typological, technical, and decorative characteristics of Khurasanian ceramics, comparatively less attention has been given to the structural principles governing their internal visual organization. Using an art-historical and visual-semiotic approach, the study analyzes five purposively selected vessels from a documented corpus of 15 objects. This study aims to describe patterns of Indonesian language errors produced by a Russian speaker in social media content on the @marielle.world account and to identify the factors contributing to these errors. This descriptive qualitative study examined five posts, comprising one Instagram post and four TikTok posts. Data were collected using non-participant observation and note-taking techniques and analyzed through a five-stage language error analysis procedure. The findings identified 68 instances of deviation, classified into two analytical categories. TikTok has become a digital communication space for promoting products while constructing representations of identity and gender. This study examines linguistic strategies in the representation of femininity in beauty product advertisements on TikTok Indonesia. It employs a qualitative descriptive method using Feminist Critical Discourse Analysis (Feminist CDA). The data consist of verbal elements from advertisements by Scarlett Whitening, Wardah Beauty, and Natur-E, analyzed in terms of lexical choices, grammatical structures, persuasive forms, and rhetorical strategies. This study examines the representation of environmental criticism in Fiersa Besari’s song “Alam Bukan Tempat Sampah” through Ferdinand de Saussure’s semiotic framework. It employs a descriptive qualitative method, using the complete song lyrics as its data source. Analysis involves reading the text, identifying signifiers, interpreting signifieds, grouping meanings, and developing interpretations within the context of the lyrics as a whole. The findings indicate that environmental criticism is constructed through word choices, semantic contrasts, metaphors, imperatives, and repetition. Augmented reality (AR)-based Virtual Try-On (VTO) enables consumers to visualize cosmetic products before purchase and has become increasingly relevant in digital marketing. Drawing on the Stimulus–Organism–Response (S-O-R) framework, this study examines attitude toward the product as a mediating mechanism linking AR-based VTO experiences with purchase intention. Unlike studies that predominantly conceptualize the organism in terms of responses to technology or technology-mediated experiences, this study adopts a product-focused perspective by examining consumers’ evaluations of cosmetic products presented through VTO. This study aims to identify and describe forms of compliance with and violations of politeness principles in netizens’ responses to the issue of salary increases for members of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) on the TikTok account @kompastv.indonesia. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through digital documentation of netizens’ comments related to the issue. The data were selected purposively and analyzed using Leech’s politeness principles by considering both the linguistic forms and pragmatic contexts of the comments. The creative concept draws on the linguistic and visual characteristics of Van Ophuijsen Spelling and its historical context as represented through narratives and visual sources. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach with a comparative design. The data sources consist of the German text of Rotkäppchen from Kinder- und Hausmärchen (1857) and its translations produced by DeepL and ChatGPT. This study examines the linguistic forms and pragmatic functions used by netizens in responding to a bullying case at MTs Al Khairaat Sindue through comments on the TikTok account @Inews.com. A descriptive qualitative approach employing qualitative content analysis was used. Fundamental Qur'anic themes, including monotheism (tawhid), revelation and prophethood, the afterlife, justice, and knowledge, serve as the primary source of inspiration for the creation of contemporary Islamic calligraphic paintings. The rapid development of modernization and secularization has reduced the representation of Qur'anic spiritual values in contemporary society, creating the need for a visual medium capable of communicating these values through symbolic, reflective, and aesthetic expressions. Family-themed films can represent different parenting styles through communication, behavior, and parent–child relationships. This study aims to analyze the representation of parenting styles in the film Home Sweet Loan. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, using dialogue, characters’ actions and expressions, and contextual elements of parent–child interactions as data. The data were collected through repeated viewing and systematic note-taking and were subsequently coded and deductively categorized according to authoritative, authoritarian, permissive, and neglectful parenting characteristics. This study examines the strategies employed by Mekkas Laras Art Studio to preserve karawitan music in Pamekasan Regency and identifies the challenges and adaptive responses involved. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the studio's management, instructors, and participants. Data were analyzed through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings reveal three interrelated processes of karawitan preservation: perception, appreciation, and creation. This art creation study explores and transforms the characters of the Pandawa Five into the visual language of batik painting through figures, gestures, attributes, motifs, colors, and composition. The creative process employed Gustami’s method, comprising exploration, design, and realization. Exploration involved examining the characters of the Pandawa, observing batik paintings, interviewing practitioners, and experimenting with colors, followed by the development of alternative designs and their realization using canting and brush-coloring techniques with Remazol dyes. This study aims to describe the representation of character education dimensions, namely knowing the good, loving the good, and doing the good, in the German-language film Ich bin dein Mensch, as well as its implications for German language learning. This research employed a qualitative method using interpretative content analysis of dialogues and scenes in the film that represent the relationship between humans and artificial intelligence.
