Calliope is the University of the Pacific's annual literary magazine and oldest publication. Calliope is put together entirely by students - any views expressed within do not necessarily reflect those of the University administration. All submissions to Calliope are from students, faculty, staff or alumni. All works submitted for publication are read and scored anonymously by the Calliope staff.

Nexus is a magazine that began as an insert in the Wright State Guardian student newspaper in 1965 and has since been published semi-regularly. It began only accepting creative writing, but has since expanded to include illustrations, photography and other non-written art forms. Today, it is published in a digital format and accepts submissions from around the country, though it maintains its commitment to the Wright State Community.

The magazine is almost finished- forged in the fiery loins of Beadle Hall (erect in 1886). The Editor (Hephaestus) eyes me anxiously. He's waiting for the foreword and is acutely aware of my procrastinating nature. The clock, uncaring of my plight, ticks on.
New Tricks (The Official Magazine of the Literary Stunt Dogs) has risen from the ashes of the Dakotah Poesy. The Poesy was Dakota State's literary magazine from 1986 to 1990.
