This is the story of a chameleon who is sad that he does not have a color of his own. He changes color wherever he goes. He tries to remain one color by staying on a leaf – but the leaf changes color with the seasons. He meets another chameleon who suggests they travel together. So they were green together, and yellow together and violet together and lived happily ever after.

The article highlights the imprint and poetic requirement of Henri Michaux in his work on the portrait of the poet in barbarian. The author returns, from a complex game, to the question of the plural being. Michaux diverts from the recognition and republic of letters, to make of it to be, not only the barbarian and the pariah of French literature but also his «Mlecha». Michaux’s work and life are part of a reflection on literature in its relation to being as a machine to be and to think.

Introduction: Burnout in emergency medicine and in residency training has been well-described. The impact of demographic, individual, and programmatic factors on burnout have not previously been determined in a national survey of emergency medicine residents. This study aimed to identify personal and environmental factors impacting resident burnout in a national sample of emergency medicine residents.

Methods: A prospective Emergency Medicine Resident Wellness Survey was administered in 2017. We surveyed respondents on demographic, personal, and environmental factors; each respondent also completed the Maslach Burnout Inventory - Human Services Survey. "Pierre Desproges was a French humorist, whose successful career took off in the late 70s and ended abruptly with his death from cancer in 1988 (he was 48). Cynical about life, his favorite themes involved the holocaust, racism, religion, death, small-town France, chauvinism, all treated in a quite light-hearted fashion. A stand-up comedian, radio host and fake TV journalist, Desproges would write pieces celebrated by both the people and the critics, prompting him also to write short stories and a book.
