In January–April 1968, three excavations were conducted in Be'er Sheva (map ref. unknown), under the direction of R. Cohen, following construction and development work in the city. In Shikun D, a group of eight graves arranged in three rows was exposed, which included a grave built of ashlar stones containing the interment of a man and a woman. A stone with a cross engraved in a palm leaf pattern was placed next to the heads of the deceased. Near the graves was a plastered pit containing architectural elements and fragments of pottery jars that were dated to the Byzantine period.

In December 1968, a salvage excavation was conducted in Tiberias, following the expansion of the Sonol gas station (map ref. 2509/7442). Druks excavated before the construction work had begun and Bahat continued the excavation. In his excavation, Druks discovered the remains of graves, which consisted of stones, plaster and bones.

According to information preserved in the archival file, tombs were uncovered during the construction of the access road to ancient Samaria. Twelve circular shafts were revealed, which undoubtedly served as burial installations. Some date to the Israelite period (Iron Age II), while others belong to the Roman period.
