Connie MacDonald, "Connie Mac," as she has become to be known, a photographic artist from Federal Hill, has captured the Federal Hill story in her paintings.
She has painted many truly colorful and artistic scenes of people, events, occasions and landmarks so vividly that whenever they have been placed on display they have brought back memories for many old enough to remember and for many who were youngsters.

Nexus is a magazine that began as an insert in the Wright State Guardian student newspaper in 1965 and has since been published semi-regularly. It began only accepting creative writing, but has since expanded to include illustrations, photography and other non-written art forms. Today, it is published in a digital format and accepts submissions from around the country, though it maintains its commitment to the Wright State Community.

This catalog features work from an exhibition of artists that were beneficiaries of a regional fellowship program funded by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and administered by the Art Department at Wright State University. Artists from Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota were invited to submit recent work to apply for the fellowship. The exhibition was held at Wright State University Art Galleries in May of 1979.

Forms And Patterns Found In A Natural State, Andrew M. Whitlock

This creative project deals with the photographic study of forms and patterns found in a natural state. The photographer has covered a wide geographical area including Logan and Cache Valley, Antelope Island in the Great Salt Lake, Shoshone Falls in southern Idaho and City of Rocks, also in southern Idaho. The objective of this project was to reveal the visual strength of natural forms, or man-made forms acted upon by natural elements, in black-and-white images. Subjects were studied under all seasonal conditions in order to determine the best possible situation for enhancing the aesthetic qualities of the forms and patterns. …
