Textbook is one of the most important elements for a successful teaching and learning of Arabic. Such a textbook serves to convey concepts and knowledge, to develop capacities and skills, and to satisfy needs and interests. Some students felt discouraged to speak in an Arabic speech class due to inconvidence and fear of error. Some found the Arabic speech class boring for its lacks lifely activities. Moral decadence of the nation today are very concerned. Not only the students in the school, but also students in Madrasah, the postscript learning Islamic education and Arabic language more than in school. This study is to describe the needs to develop Arabic language teaching materials for prospective Indonesian migrant workers in Middle East. It is a research and development study adapted from Borg and Gall with the following procedures: reviewing relevant literature, conducting a field observation, studying some collected documentation, and in-depths interviews. الملخص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى وصف التخطيط والتنفيذه في عملية تعليمية ميدانية لقسم الأدب العربي كلية الآداب بجامعة مالانج الحكومية. وأجري هذا البحث الكيفي والوصفي في المدرسة الثانوية الحكومية 8 والمدرسة الثانوية الإسلامية الحكومية 3 مالانج. و وصلت الباحثة الى نتيجة تقول إن الخطة تعتبر مستوفية للشروط حيث أن فيها هوية التعليم الكاملة واختيار الوسائل التي تساعد توضيح فهم التلاميذ للمادة وسهلة للتطبيق. و في تنفيذ التعليم قام الطلبة بالأنشطة الافتتاحية والأساسية باستخدام الطريقة والوسائل التعليمية المتنوعة. ولكن قلة الحماسة في استخدامها تسبب قلة مشاركة التلاميذ في أنشطة تعليم اللغة العربية. وقلة استعدادهم قبل تنفيذ التعليم تسبب عدم تعليق المادة …

Difficulties in understanding Arabic Balaghah is common among Indonesian students learning Arabic. One of the factors attributable to the difficulties is the different characteristics of Arabic and Indonesia. This contrastive research aimed at developing more understandable materials for the study of Balaghah. The research used a quasi-experimental method. Based on the questionnaires distributed, the respondents considered that lectures using contrastive materials for the study of Balaghah were easier and more understandable.
