This study examines the aspects of the conceptual relationship between Edward Said and French theory. The study argues that this relationship is divergent to the difference between the premises upon which Said's thought is based, and the premises upon which the French theory is based. Thus, the study corrects the interpretation of Edward Said in the Arab context, which has been linked with French theory and the ideas of Michel Foucault in particular. This article re-examines the authenticity of Sayf Bin Omar's account of the ridda among Tamīm, his own tribe. Sayf implies that the main body of Tamīm remained faithful to Madina at the advent of Muhammad's death. However, modern scholars have discredited Sayf's account on the grounds that 1) the Hadīth's critics considered him unreliable; hence rejecting his transmissions altogether. 2) All other Arab historians disagree with him on this matter. This paper examines the effect of context (verbal context or text of situation) to clarify the meaning of an unfamiliar words, by induction the Prophet’s traditions, which include unfamiliar words in the study's corps. Moreover, the article explains the context strategies to reach its effect. The context has varied aspects to clarify the meaning: it is either preference one meaning over another, or preference a formula over another, or clarification general meaning of a word (The semantic field), or clarification an exact meaning by various strategies: the selection restrictions, the simile, and the antonymy. This research aims to analyze the manifestations of grammatical phenomena in describing the main character in Aisha Al-Mahmoud’s Watan Mozawwar (Forged Homeland). The author relies on several grammatical phenomena in presenting the character in a detailed and accurate way that enables one to understand the psychological dimensions of the character and to have guided impressions on the recipient’s or reader’s mind who is clearly present in the creative process.
