After two major continental conflicts, many African countries were forced to re-evaluate their constitutions and inherent political structures. This left a window of opportunity for greater female political participation as political leaders and members of the peacemaking process. This project will focus on selected African post-conflict states during the 1970’s to 2000’s that have re-written their constitutions. The general query asks whether those rewritten constitutions have contributed to greater gender equality in the legislature of those states and which constitutional provisions work best at promoting and maintaining gender equality. 'Mulan: An Exploration of Culture and Representation in Hollywood' is a presentation and detailed analysis of various representational, cultural, and minority-related issues in the context of Hollywood and western media. The presentation will focalize specifically around the recent live-action remake of the 1998 film "Mulan". The remake, premiered in March 2020, received critical backlash from various audiences (mostly from the BIPOC community), bashing the film for its misrepresentation of Ancient China and Ancient Chinese culture. Through this misrepresentation, the Hollywood film ultimately reflects views of cultural appropriation, misogyny, and overall minority underrepresentation in the United States. يعتبر الإمام الشافعي رحمه اله تعالى أحد أعلام العلماء عبر التاريخ الذين لهم تأثير في الفكر الإنساني فضلا عن العلوم الإسلامية والعربية وعلوم زمانه وقد وجدته يدعو إلى السفر والترحال في الأرض في قصيدة عصماء حملت فوائد السفر والترحال ممثلة ومعللة لمزاياه التي مارسها في سائر أطوار حياته طالباً للعلم وجامعاً لرواياته موظفاً وقاضياً مدرساً ومفتيا وفقيها وإماما فَخَبَر السفر وعالج أحواله ورأى نتائجه مما دعاني إلى تتبع رحلاته العلمية ومراحل حياته رحمه الله تعالى فرأيت تطابق أفعاله.

مع ما دعى إليه في هذه القصيدة وإذا به من أكثر الأعلام ضربا في الأرض وترحالا لطلب العلم وتعليمه إلى آخر حياته.

This essay considers higher education policy in Ireland that, in limited optional ways, is diversifying the undergraduate curriculum to incorporate wider reading across disciplines. Such policies, now gaining traction, aim to foster greater graduate employability, understood as the resilience and resourcefulness to secure positions in the workplace over time, and in fluctuating periods of supply and demand; they also support graduates to live more meaningfully in society. In the Book of Judges, the Gileadites use the word shibboleth to target and kill members of a closely related tribe, the Ephraimites, who cannot pronunce the initial shin phoneme. In modern European languages, shibboleth has come to mean a hard-to-falsify sign that winnows identities, and establishes and confirms borders; it has also acquired the ancillary meanings of slogan or cliché. The semantic field of shibboleth thus seems keyed to the waning of the logos in an era of technical reproducibility—to the proliferation of technologies and practices of encryption, decryption, exclusion and inclusion that saturate modern life. This research aims to illustrate the attitudes of two great Tafsir scholars: Al-Tabari and Al-Razi towards Quranic verses that may be considered illusive to imaging of Almighty Allah. The authors gathered these verses and objectively categorized them. The research was organized into three main sections: Those Quranic verses that may be illusive to existence in some direction, those that are illusive to embodying, and those that are illusive to possessing organs. The authors followed the sayings of Al-Tabari and Al-Razi in these verses, analyzed them and compared between these sayings. The research concluded to a number of findings. One of …
