The Crambo
"Quarters" is a poem that depicts a struggle with ethnicity and heritage. How does someone react to the political climate when they pass for white, but are only two generations away from Latin immigrants. What is their responsibility? What parts of their heritage can they express?

The Crambo
This palindrome or poem that is able to be mirrored by being read both forwards and backwards includes an underlying theme of being lost in a simply-portrayed setting, allowing for the reader to glean their own desired meaning from the text. Inspired by the main character Trisha from Stephen King's novel The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon who gets lost in the woods, this poem describes the subject who, based on the reader's interpretation, can feel literally and/or figuratively lost or without direction.

However, several theories promoted in academic and popular circles claim that Buddhists or other Indians were present in western Arabia at the eve of Islam and thus shaped the religious environment in which Muhammad’s movement emerged. This article offers a critical survey of the most prominent arguments adduced to support this view and discusses the underlying attitudes to the Islamic tradition, understood …

The Crambo
"Another Life” is a short story about going home again. The main character, Julie, returns home and reflects on the life she left behind after high school. She reflects on the love that she lost when she lost Chris, her high school boyfriend. On this trip home, Julie experiences the sickening discomfort of returning to a place and person she no longer is and is surrounded by the memories that never really leave. Chris and his memory never left Julie, and in the sickening claustrophobia of hometown life, she discovers the man he became and what could have been.
