Against The Intentional Definition Of Argument, G. C. Goddu

Intentional definitions of argument, i.e. the conclusion being intended to follow from the premises, abound. Yet, there are numerous problem cases in which we appear to have arguments, but no intention. One way to try to avoid these problem cases is to appeal to acts, in which case one has to give up on the repeatability of arguments. One can keep repeatability and intentions if one resorts to act types, but then it appears that the problem cases re-emerge.

The fact that Kant does not articulate a theory of distributive justice has not kept political philosophers from citing Kant as inspiration and support for whatever theory of distributive justice they favor - including those who argue that the notion of distributive justice is itself mistaken. This widespread reliance on Kant invites the question, "Does the Doctrine of Right imply a theory of distributive justice?"

To address this question, we discuss Paul Guyer's argument that Kant's Doctrine of Right implies, roughly, the principles of distributive justice as found in Rawls's justice as fairness. Guyer's argument is that Kant's theory of …

In Defense Of Penalizing (But Not Punishing) Civil Disobedience, David Lefkowitz

While many contemporary political philosophers agree that citizens of a legitimate state enjoy a moral right to civil disobedience, they differ over both the grounds of that right and its content. This essay defends the view that the moral right to civil disobedience derives from (or is a facet of) a general right to political participation, and the characterization of that right as precluding the state from punishing, but not from penalizing, those who exercise it. The argument proceeds by way of rebuttals to criticisms of both claims recently advanced by Kimberley Brownlee. While in some cases those criticisms fail …

The purpose of this study is to provide new evidence for the existence of the 2 sg present active imperative *mimihí ‘measure’ in the Rigveda. Controlling to an extent for the effects of morphosyntax, I show that the poets do not localize the forms transmitted as mimihí in the meter similarly to the way that they localize forms of the same metrical/phonological shape, e.g. did¯ıhí ‘shine’, ´si´s¯ıhí ‘sharpen’, gr.n. ¯ıhí ‘sing’. Instead, they localize them like forms of the shape *mimihí , e.g. kr.n. uhí ‘make’, ´sr.n.uhí ‘hear’, tanuhi ‘stretch’. Thus we should restore *mimihí . I then …

Hong Kong youth issues have gained increased attention in recent years, particularly in light of youth protests and political involvement. In Hong Kong, NGOs are one avenue of intervention to address youth issues. This study examines the letters of youth from the New Territories, as well as their supporting secondary school teachers, to a Hong Kong NGO in order to gain placement in an NGO internship program. The commentaries by Calvo (2018) and Mallatt & Feinberg (2017) on my 2016 target branch out from a common conceptual node like forks in a road. Calvo criticizes me for not acknowledging that plants too are likely to be sentient and claims I have fallen into the kind of category error of which I accuse others ─ a zoocentric bias that fails to grant consciousness to flora. Mallatt & Feinberg maintain that I've gone too far in granting sentience to any species that lacks a nervous system. In this paper, we seek to draw lessons about the roles that religious institutions can play in promoting democracy in deeply divided societies by examining the experience of the Catholic Church in Latin America. We focus on the cases of Chile and El Salvador, two countries where the Catholic Church played a decisive role in advancing democracy after autocratic military rule. These two cases illustrate where theology and action productively promoted social change in highly conflictual societies. We note challenges to democracy in the region, but also new opportunities in the era of the first Latin American pope, Francis.

Cognitive imagery training is an effective tool in improving skill learning, technique, confidence, anxiety and arousal management, recovery, rehabilitation, and performance in dancers. Multiple studies (Abbott & Collins 2004; Hall 2009; and Nordin and Cumming 2006, 2011) have established the positive influence imagery can have on dance and sport, and numerous researchers in these fields promote the incorporation of cognitive imagery training into ‘deliberate’ practice. This dissertation aims to examine the images of Vietnam portrayed in contemporary Thai writings (1990s-2015) and to analyse the construction of such images. Document research, textual analysis and interview reveal three outstanding images of Vietnam: (1) "Vietnam is a country of wars", which is initially constructed from old impressions about the Vietnam War of the Thai writers then are soon replaced by their first-hand experience in Vietnam with new aspects of the serious consequences of the wars as well as post-war struggles. งานวิจัยเรื่องการถ่ายทอดดนตรีไทยของครูสำรวย เปรมใจ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาประวัติและผลงานของครูสำรวย เปรมใจ กระบวนการถ่ายทอดความรู้ด้านดนตรีไทยของครูสำรวย เปรมใจ และบทบาทการสืบทอดดนตรีไทยของครูสำรวย เปรมใจ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ครูสำรวย เปรมใจได้รับการถ่ายทอดความรู้การเล่นดนตรีไทย การผลิตและการซ่อมแซมเครื่องดนตรีไทยจากบิดาคือ ครูปลั่ง เปรมใจ และได้เรียนดนตรีกับครูผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านดนตรีไทยอีกหลายท่านจนมีความรู้ความสามารถ ต่อมาเป็นเจ้าของวงดนตรีไทย และเปิดบ้านสอนดนตรีไทย "บ้านเปรมใจ" เป็นวิทยาทานโดยไม่มีค่าใช้จ่าย ส่งผลทำให้สภาวัฒนธรรมเขตบางซื่อ กรุงเทพมหานคร ยกย่องให้ครูสำรวย เปรมใจ เป็นบุคคลดีเด่นของสภาวัฒนธรรมเขตบางซื่อ และบ้านเปรมใจได้รับการยกย่องให้เป็นแหล่งวัฒนธรรมด้านศิลปะการแสดงในเขตบางซื่อ ผู้ผ่านการศึกษาตามหลักสูตรการเรียนการสอนจะได้รับวุฒิบัตรจากสภาวัฒนธรรมเขตบางซื่อ ส่งผลทำให้การถ่ายทอดความรู้ดนตรีไทยของบ้านเปรมใจมีแบบแผนขั้นตอนในการถ่ายทอด ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่เป็นไปตามขนบการถ่ายทอดดนตรีไทยนับตั้งแต่การครอบครู วิธีการบรรเลง รวมถึงลำดับเพลงในการถ่ายทอด โดยมีการพัฒนาวิธีการถ่ายทอดความรู้เป็นแบบฉบับของตนเองเรียกว่าดนตรี 3 ภาษา คือ ภาษามือ ภาษาโน้ต ภาษาเสียง ชื่อเสียงจากการสอนดนตรี การผลิตเครื่องดนตรีและซ่อมแซมเครื่องดนตรีทำให้ครูสำรวย เปรมใจมีบทบาทในการเผยแพร่ดนตรีไทยทั้งในการนำวงดนตรีไทยไปบรรเลงและการประชาสัมพันธ์แนะนำดนตรีไทย

งานวิจัยเรื่อง การสืบทอดดนตรีไทยของเจ้าโสภา เพ็งพุ่ม (ณ เชียงใหม่) มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ ศึกษาชีวประวัติและผลงาน การถ่ายทอดดนตรีไทย และสายการสืบทอดดนตรีไทยของ เจ้าโสภา เพ็งพุ่ม (ณ เชียงใหม่) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า เจ้าโสภา เพ็งพุ่ม (ณ เชียงใหม่) เกิดในตระกูลเจ้านายฝ่ายเหนือ เมื่อเยาว์วัยได้ตามเสด็จฯ พระราชชายา เจ้าดารารัศมี ไปพำนัก ณ วังสวนสุนันทา กรุงเทพมหานคร ทำให้ได้เรียนจะเข้กับครูสังวาลย์ กุลวัลกี ผู้มีชื่อเสียงและมีฝีมือความสามารถในการบรรเลงจะเข้ นอกจากการเรียนจะเข้แล้ว เจ้าโสภายังเรียนซอเพิ่มเติมกับ ครูเจริญ พาทยโกศล เรียนขับร้องเพิ่มเติมกับคุณหญิงไพฑูรย์ กิตติวรรณ และขุนเสียงเสนาะกรรณ (พัน มุกตวาภัย) เมื่อกลับมาเชียงใหม่ เจ้าโสภา เพ็งพุ่ม (ณ เชียงใหม่) สอนดนตรีไทยให้กับสถาบันต่าง ๆ โดยมีผลงานด้านการแผยแพร่ดนตรีและการแสดง ผลงานด้านวิชาการ และผลงานด้านการควบคุมการบรรเลงและการแสดง การถ่ายทอดดนตรีไทยพบว่า เจ้าโสภา เพ็งพุ่ม (ณ เชียงใหม่) ได้ถ่ายทอดความรู้ด้านพื้นฐานดนตรีไทยและการบรรเลงเครื่องสาย ภายในระบบการศึกษาและภายนอกระบบการศึกษา โดยให้ความสำคัญกับพื้นฐานดนตรีไทยและการบรรเลงดนตรีไทยตามขนบ คือ การไหว้ครู บุคลิกการบรรเลง รวมถึงข้อคิดสอนใจในการเป็นนักดนตรี แต่เนื่องจากเจ้าโสภาถ่ายทอดดนตรีไทยภายในและภายนอกระบบการศึกษา ที่มีการเรียนการสอนดนตรีไทยเป็นเพียงรายวิชาพื้นฐานและมีผู้ที่สนใจในจำนวนน้อย มิได้ถ่ายทอดให้กับศิลปินอาชีพหรือสถาบันที่มีการเรียนการสอนดนตรีไทยโดยตรง ทำให้สายการสืบทอดดนตรีไทยของเจ้าโสภา เพ็งพุ่ม (ณ เชียงใหม่) ไม่แพร่หลาย

เรื่องผีของเหม เวชกร เผยแพรjระหว่างปี 2476-2513 เป็นวรรณกรรมที่เกิดขึ้นในห้วงเวลาแห่ง ความเปลี่ยนแปลงของสังคมไทยจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงการปกครองในปี 2475 และความเป็นสมัยใหม่ ทั้ง ในทางการเมืองและสังคมวัฒนธรรม แต่ความเปลี่ยนแปลงไปสู่สิ่งใหม่ที่เกิดขึ้นในห้วงเวลานี้ไม่ได้ทำให้สิ่ง เก่าหายไป สิ่งเก่ายังคงดำรงอยู่ในพื้นที่และเวลาเดียวกันกับสิ่งใหม่ ผีในเรื่องผีของเหมจึงเกิดขึ้นด้วย เงื่อนไขเช่นนี้ และฉายภาพให้เห็นความกลัว ความตึงเครียด และความขัดแย้งในสังคมไทยในสามประเด็น ประการแรกคือ สังคมเก่ายังคงอยู่ในสังคมใหม่ อย่างที่สองคือ เมืองและชนบทยังคงเป็นสองโลกที่ แตกต่างกัน และสิ่งเก่าที่ความเป็นสมัยใหม่ต้องการกำจัดให้หมดไปยังคงมีอยู่ในชนบท อย่างที่สามคือ ความรักแบบใหม่ที่ให้ความสำคัญกับความเสมอภาคและเสรีภาพต้องปะทะกับความรักแบบเก่าที่ยึดมั่น ในชนชั้นและการตัดสินใจของพ่อแม่ สภาวะเช่นนี้แสดงให้เห็นสิ่งที่มากไปกว่า "การปฏิวัติที่ไม่สมบูรณ)" แต่แสดงให้เห็น "การทำให้ทันสมัยที่ไม่สมบูรณ)" ด้วยความไม่สมบูรณ)เช่นนี้จึงทำให้เกิด "สิ่งตกค้าง" จากสังคมเก่าในสังคมใหม่ เรื่องผีของเหมจึงเป็นเรื่องผีที่หลอกหลอนคนที่อยู่ในสังคมใหม่ ความคิดใหม่นั่นเอง

วิทยานิพนธ์นี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อวิเคราะห์มโนทัศน์เรื่องความอยุติธรรมเชิงญาณวิทยาของมิแรนด้า ฟริกเกอร์ (Miranda Fricker) ฟริกเกอร์แบ่งความอยุติธรรมเชิงญาณวิทยาเป็นสองแบบ ได้แก่ความอยุติธรรมในการรับฟังคำบอกเล่าของผู้อื่น (Testimonial Injustice) หมายถึงการที่ผู้พูดถูกผู้ฟังตัดสินด้วยอคติที่มีต่อตัวผู้พูด และความอยุติธรรมในการตีความ (Hermeneutical Injustice) หมายถึงการที่บริบทของสังคมไม่เอื้อต่อการทำความเข้าใจประสบการณ์ของคนบางกลุ่ม โดยมีสาเหตุมาจากการที่ความรู้ของคนชายขอบไม่ถูกนำมารวมเป็นองค์ความรู้ของสังคม เธอเห็นว่าสาเหตุของความอยุติธรรมเชิงญาณวิทยามาจากอคติ โดยแสดงออกมาในรูปของสามัญทัศน์ที่มีอคติแฝงอยู่ (Prejudicial Stereotype) ซึ่งสามารถแก้ไขได้โดยการใช้ความอ่อนไหวต่ออคติเพื่อจะไม่ตัดสินผู้พูดจากอคติที่แฝงอยู่ในสามัญทัศน์ วิทยานิพนธ์นี้จะอภิปรายข้อวิพากษ์ของนักญาณวิทยาต่างๆที่มีต่อข้อเสนอของฟริกเกอร์ ได้แก่ ลอร่า บีบี้ (Laura Beeby) ที่โต้แย้งว่าความอยุติธรรมในการตีความนั้นไม่ได้เป็นเรื่องเชิงญาณวิทยาแต่เป็นปัญหาจากสภาพสังคม และเจมส์ โบแมน (James Bohman) ที่แย้งว่าสาเหตุของความอยุติธรรมคือการครอบงำและจะแก้ปัญหานี้ได้ด้วยการสร้างพื้นที่ที่ปราศจากการครอบงำ ทั้งนี้ผู้วิจัยได้นำแนวคิดที่สนับสนุนฟริกเกอร์มาร่วมอภิปรายด้วย ได้แก่ ไซมอน เม (Simon May) ซึ่งเสนอตัวอย่างแย้งให้เห็นว่าความอยุติธรรมที่ไม่ได้เกิดจากการครอบงำนั้นมีอยู่ และแซลลี่ ฮาสแลนเจอร์ (Sally Haslanger) ที่อธิบายถึงจุดเริ่มต้นของอคติและเป็นการสร้างความชอบธรรมให้กับการจัดการสิ่งผิดปกติ วิทยานิพนธ์นี้ต้องการเสนอว่าสาเหตุของความอยุติธรรมเชิงญาณวิทยานั้นเกิดได้ทั้งจากอคติและการครอบงำ โดยอคตินั้นเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของสภาพสังคมที่มีการกดทับ ในขณะที่การครอบงำนั้นเป็นการทำให้สภาพสังคมดังกล่าวคงอยู่และสืบทอดอำนาจต่อไป ดังนั้นการแก้ไขปัญหานี้จึงต้องทำควบคู่กันไป ด้วยการส่งเสริมให้คนมีความตระหนักรู้ต่อความอยุติธรรมพร้อมกับการที่สถาบันเข้ามาสร้างให้คนรู้สิทธิของตนเองและไม่ปล่อยให้ถูกครอบงำโดยอคติ

This study aimed to test three hypotheses: 1) similarities and differences exist between the production and perception errors of word order in L3 English affirmative and interrogative structures by L1 Yi and L2 Mandarin learners; 2) positive and negative transfer from L1 Yi and L2 Mandarin to L3 English are evidenced in the production and perception of word order in affirmative and interrogative structures; 3) with respect to negative transfer, the production and perception of L3 English word order are negatively influenced by both L1 Yi and L2 Mandarin. วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ที่จะศึกษารูปประโยค องค์ประกอบ และความหมายของประโยคแสดงการดำรงอยู่ในภาษาจีนกลาง และการเปรียบเทียบกับภาษาไทย เพื่อให้ผู้เรียนภาษาจีนชาวไทยรู้จักและเข้าใจประโยคแสดงการดำรงอยู่ในภาษาจีนกลางอย่างถูกต้อง ผลการศึกษาพบว่า การสื่อความหมายแสดงการดำรงอยู่มี 2 ลักษณะ ลักษณะที่หนึ่ง คือ "สถานที่หรือเวลาหนึ่งมีสิ่งบางสิ่งดำรงอยู่ ปรากฏขึ้น หรือหายไป" หรือลักษณะที่สอง คือ "มีสิ่งบางสิ่งดำรงอยู่ ปรากฏขึ้น หรือหายไป ณ สถานที่หนึ่ง" ซึ่งโครงสร้างของประโยคแสดงการดำรงอยู่ในภาษาจีนกลาง (存现句) จะมีลำดับคำตามการแสดงความหมายในลักษณะที่หนึ่งเท่านั้น หากจะแสดงความหมายตามลักษณะที่สองจะอยู่รูปประโยคอื่นที่สื่อความหมายเดียวกัน ประโยคที่สื่อความหมายแสดงการดำรงอยู่ในภาษาไทยใช้โครงสร้าง "มี..อยู่" มาเทียบเคียงกับการแสดงความหมายดำรงอยู่ได้ในทั้ง 2 ลักษณะ ต่างกันที่ตำแหน่งของวลีบอกสถานที่เท่านั้น ประโยคแสดงการดำรงอยู่แบ่งประเภทได้เป็น ประโยคแสดงการมีอยู่ (存在) ประโยคแสดงการปรากฏขึ้น (出现) และประโยคแสดงการหายไป (消失) ซึ่งประโยคแสดงการมีอยู่จะสามารถสื่อความได้ในรูปแบบแสดงสภาวะ (静态) เท่านั้น ส่วนประโยคแสดงการปรากฏขึ้นและประโยคแสดงการหายไปสามารถสื่อความได้ทั้งในรูปแบบแสดงสภาวะและรูปแบบแสดงการเคลื่อนไหว (动态) ภาษาไทยสามารถใช้กริยา "มี" คำเดียวโดยละคำว่า "อยู่" ได้ในรูปแสดงการมีอยู่โดยตรง และสามารถใช้กริยา "เกิด" หรือ "ปรากฏ" ในประโยคแสดงการแสดงการปรากฏขึ้น โดยไม่จำเป็นต้องใช้โครงสร้าง "มี...อยู่" ก็ได้ นอกจากนี้ ประโยคแสดงการดำรงอยู่ที่ใช้คำช่วย "过" หรือ "เคย" เรียกได้ว่าเป็น "ประโยคแสดงประสบการณ์การดำรงอยู่"

บทประพันธ์ดุษฎีนิพนธ์ "นาก" ไทยเมโลดราม่า เป็นบทประพันธ์เพลงที่ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากบทประพันธ์ประเภทเมโลดราม่าของนักประพันธ์ อาร์โนลด์ เชินแบร์ก ผสมผสานกับเรื่องเล่าเก่าแก่เกี่ยวกับภูตผีปีศาจของไทย บทบรรยายในเรื่องนำมาจากวรรณกรรมร้อยกรองเรื่องแม่นาคพระโขนง ฉบับตีพิมพ์ในปี พ.ศ. 2474 โดยผู้ที่ใช้นามปากกาว่าประภาศรี ได้คัดลอกบทร้อยกรองนี้จากต้นฉบับเดิมที่เขียนด้วยยางไม้สีเหลือง (รง) ซึ่งพบที่วัดร้างแห่งหนึ่งในจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ บทประพันธ์ดุษฎีนิพนธ์ "นาก" ไทยเมโลดราม่า เป็นบทประพันธ์เมโลดราม่าเรื่องแรกที่ใช้ภาษาไทยในการบอกเล่าเนื้อเรื่อง ผสมผสานกับดนตรีในสำเนียงไทยและตะวันตก บทประพันธ์แบ่งเป็น 4 องก์ ได้แก่ องก์ที่ 1) บทบรรเลงนำ เป็นการบรรยายนำเรื่องกล่าวถึงตำนานภูติผีปีศาจ องก์ที่ 2) พราก เป็นการบรรยายชีวิตในช่วงแรกของสองสามีภรรยา นางนากและนายมาก จนถึงตอนที่นายมากต้องเข้ารับการเกณฑ์ทหารยังวังหลวง องก์ที่ 3) หลอน เป็นช่วงที่นางนากเสียชีวิตจากการคลอดบุตร จนกลายมาเป็นภูติผี และองก์ที่4) นาก เป็นการสรุปบทเพลงโดยการนำศพของนางนากไปฝังที่ต้นตะเคียน และการจุดธูปขอขมา

วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อแสวงหารูปแบบนาฏยศิลป์ที่สร้างสรรค์จากตำนานนกกิ่งกะหร่าของชาวไทใหญ่ และเพื่อค้นหาแนวคิดที่ได้หลังจากการปฏิบัติการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานนาฏยศิลป์ มีลักษณะเป็นงานวิจัยเชิงสร้างสรรค์และเชิงคุณภาพ เครื่องมือในการวิจัย ได้แก่ การสำรวจข้อมูลเชิงเอกสาร การสัมภาษณ์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ สื่อสารสนเทศ ข้อมูลภาคสนาม การสังเกตการณ์ผลงานสร้างสรรค์ทางด้านนาฏยศิลป์ การสัมมนา และประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวของผู้วิจัย โดยนำข้อมูลที่ได้จากการศึกษาวิเคราะห์ สังเคราะห์ การปฏิบัติการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานนาฏยศิลป์ และสรุปผล ตามลำดับ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานนาฏยศิลป์โดยใช้ตำนานนกกิ่งกะหร่าเพื่อสื่อสารความเชื่อความศรัทธาของชาติพันธุ์ไทใหญ่กับพระพุทธศาสนา สามารถจำแนกตามองค์ประกอบการแสดงได้ 8 ประการ 1) บทการแสดงที่สร้างสรรค์ขึ้นใหม่โดยผสมผสานตำนานนกกิ่งกะหร่าของชาวไทใหญ่ และเรื่องชาติภพทั้ง 5 ของพระพุทธเจ้าในการกำเนิดเป็นนกกิ่งกะหร่า 2) นักแสดงมีคุณสมบัติในการเคลื่อนไหวร่างกายที่หลากหลายตามทักษะความชำนาญของตนเอง 3) ลีลาที่นำเสนอผ่านการฝึกปฏิบัติวิธีการแสดงแบบเดอะเมธอด (The Method of Acting) 4) เครื่องแต่งกายที่แสดงถึงบุคลิกภาพของนกกิ่งกะหร่าทั้ง 5 ตัว ตามแนวคิดเรื่องศีล 5 ข้อ 5) ดนตรีและเสียงประกอบที่ใช้ดนตรีพื้นบ้านภาคเหนือด้นสดกับสถานการณ์ในการแสดง และการขับเพลงพื้นบ้านภาคเหนือเล่าเรื่องตำนานนกกิ่งกะหร่า 6) อุปกรณ์ประกอบการแสดงที่เน้นการใช้ร่างกายเคลื่อนไหวร่างกายในรูปแบบต่าง ๆ ของนักแสดงเพื่อสื่อสารประเด็นสำคัญของเรื่อง 7) พื้นที่การแสดงที่กำหนดความหมายเป็นสถานที่ต่าง ๆ ในการแสดงได้แก่ สถานที่ไร้กาลและเวลา ป่าหิมพานต์ และท้องฟ้า 8) แสงที่ใช้แนวคิดทางทัศนศิลป์ และสัญวิทยาออกแบบเสียงให้ที่สามารถสื่อสารความคิดและสถานการณ์ของตัวละครให้เกิดความชัดเจน นอกจากนี้ ในด้านการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานนาฏยศิลป์ยังได้ให้ความสำคัญใน 6 ประเด็น 1) แนวคิดจากตำนานนกิ่งกะหร่าของชาวไทใหญ่ 2) แนวคิดเกี่ยวกับชาติพันธุ์กับอัตลักษณ์ของชาติพันธุ์ไทใหญ่ 3) แนวคิดที่เกี่ยวกับรากฐานความคิดความเชื่อและศิลปวัฒนธรรม 4) แนวคิดสัญวิทยา 5) แนวคิด การแสดงเดอะเมธอด (The Method of Acting) และ 6) แนวคิดทางทัศนศิลป์

ภาพยนตร์แอนิเมชั่นเพื่อบรรเทาภาวะวิตกกังวลในผู้ป่วยเด็กโรคมะเร็งที่ถูกเจาะเลือดในขณะเข้ารับการรักษาในโรงพยาบาล, วิศิษฎ์ ศุภางคะรัตน์

ปัญหาทางด้านจิตใจเป็นปัญหาที่พบบ่อยในเด็กที่เข้ารับรักษาในโรงพยาบาลเป็นเวลานาน โดยเฉพาะผู้ป่วยเด็กโรคมะเร็งเนื่องจากเป็นโรคที่มีความซับซ้อนในการรักษา และผู้ป่วยเด็กมักไม่ทราบถึงสิ่งที่ตนเองต้องเผชิญตลอดระยะเวลที่อยู่ในโรงพยาบาล โดยปกติเมื่อเด็กต้องเผชิญกับสิ่งที่ไม่ชอบ เด็กจะมีวิธีในการเผชิญหน้ากับสภาวะนั้นด้วยการเล่นสมมติ โดยจะจินตนาการว่าตัวเองมีพลังอำนาจ สามารถต่อสู้กับสิ่งที่ไม่ชอบได้ การศึกษาครั้งนี้จึงมุ่งเน้นที่การค้นหาวิธีการออกแบบแอนิเมชั่นจากภาวะวิตกกังวลในเด็กป่วยมะเร็งที่เข้ารับการรักษาในโรงพยาบาล ในขั้นแรกได้ทำการศึกษาถึงภาวะวิตกกังวลในเด็กที่เข้ารับการรักษาในโรงพยาบาลและประเภทของความแฟนตาซีที่มีความเหมาะสมในการนำมาใช้ จากแพทย์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านจิตเวชและพัฒนาการเด็กจำนวน 3 ท่านพบว่า ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อภาวะวิตกกังวลในเด็กป่วยมะเร็งที่เข้ารับการรักษาในโรงพยาบาลมากที่สุดคือ การถูกพรากจากบุคคลที่เด็กรักหรือคุ้นเคยและความกลัวต่อความเจ็บปวด รวมถึงการถูกทำหัตถการต่าง ๆ ผู้ป่วยมักเป็นเด็กที่มีนิสัยขี้อาย ปรับตัวยาก และประเภทของความแฟนตาซีที่มีความเหมาะสมคือ Visual Fantasy จากนั้นได้นำผลการศึกษาที่ได้มาออกแบบบุคลิกภาพของตัวละครและฉากในแอนิเมชั่น โดยมุ่งเน้นให้ตัวละครหลักเป็นผู้ป่วยเด็กโรคมะเร็งมีนิสัยขี้อาย ปรับตัวยาก อสูรกายที่แทนความเจ็บปวดจากการรักษา และ ฉากโลกในจินตนาการที่แทนภาวะวิตกกังวลในใจผู้ป่วยเด็ก จากนั้นให้ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านแอนิเมชั่นจำนวน 5 ท่านวิเคราะห์ถึงบุคลิกภาพจากตัวแปรที่กล่าวมาข้างต้นพบว่า คำสำคัญที่มีความเหมาะสมในการเลือกนำมาใช้ออกแบบตัวละครผู้ป่วยเด็กคือ Youthful, Casual, Friendly, Generous, Reflective and Elegant คำสำคัญที่มีความเหมาะสมในการเลือกนำมาใช้ออกแบบตัวอสุรกายคือ Large gesture, Addictions, Dynamic and Modern และคำสำคัญที่มีความเหมาะสมในการเลือกนำมาใช้ออกแบบโลกในจินตนาการคือ Classic, Dandy, Dynamic และ Modern
