Kesalahan besar ekonomi konvensional ialah menjadikan uang sebagai komoditas, sehingga keberadaan uang saat ini lebih banyak diperdagangkan daripada digunakan sebagai alat tukar dalam perdagangan. Lembaga perbankan konvensional juga menjadikan uang sebagai komoditas dalam proses pemberian kredit. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah bunga (interest). Uang yang memakai instrumen bunga telah menjadi lahan spekulasi empuk bagi banyak orang di muka bumi ini. Fokus perhatian artikel ini terletak pada argumentasi mengapa diperlukan kepastian hukum atas produk halal di Indonesia. Uraian argumentasi di dalamnya menyangkut politik hukum pada tataran legislasi dan praksis yang dilakukan oleh Negara dalam konteks perlindungan konsumen di Indonesia. International Students’ Responses To Explicit Instruction On Vocabulary Learning Strategies: Implications For Eap Courses, Wing Shuen Lau

TESOL Theses

Given that the importance of understanding the academic language is strongly associated with the academic vocabulary size, vocabulary knowledge is regarded as one of the most crucial areas of language competence to bolster academic achievement. The present study investigates the effectiveness of two different strategies of vocabulary acquisition in English including 1) learning from sample sentences and 2) learning from word parts. Results are significant for immediate testing and reveal the beneficial role of explicit instruction on vocabulary learning strategies that increases international students’ English vocabulary learning ability. Letter, 4 May 1948, to Dr. Bert Raldon Smith, Bowling Green, Kentucky, from former student Naomi Thurman Woosley. Writing from Munich, Germany, where her husband is a hospital chaplain, she describes a day spent in Rotterdam, Netherlands during a soccer match, and seeing Eleanor Roosevelt with Princess Juliana at The Hague. Remarking on animosity toward Germany, where her brother was a prisoner-of-war, she nevertheless regrets the hunger among the poor. Ames Company, Owensboro, Kentucky, makers of “Pleasure Vehicles and Carriage Materials,” to W. E. Shelton, a dealer in Mayfield, Kentucky. The letter discusses substituting parts to remedy errors in two orders, and the catalog pricing for an earlier delivery of parts. The company letterhead includes an image of its factory and the motto, “Buggies Bred in Old Kentucky.”
