邵長蘅對明文評價取向之研究, Man Ling Leung

宋犖認為清初文章之盛在於邵長蘅、魏禧和侯方域三子，但從前人的研究成果而言，魏禧及侯方域的研究相當豐碩，惟獨邵長蘅的研究未受重視。因此，本文擬以邵長蘅親自編纂的全集《邵子湘全集》為研究材料，從文章學的角度切入，研究邵長蘅對明文的取態。而《邵子湘全集》作為第一手研究材料，其研究價值較後世的論著為高，能如實反映邵長蘅的文論觀點。

本文共分為五章，第一章為序論，略述邵長蘅的生平、成就以及文獻概覽。第二章為邵長蘅對明文的反撥，結合歷史因素總結邵長蘅對明文的評價。第三章是明文救藥，透過歸納《邵子湘全集》的文論資料，整理邵長蘅對明文的建議，找出改善明文的方法。第四章為明代的典範作家，把邵長蘅挑選的明十家以及對他們的評價，對比今人對明清散文的評論，從而考察邵長蘅如何看待明文。第五章是結語，總結邵長蘅對明文的看法，和交代本論文在研究上的局限。

試論《三言》中婦女婚外情與明代市民經濟發展之關係, Tsz Fung Tse

本論文嘗試以《三言》中與婦女婚外情相關的篇章，結合文獻考證，探討明代婦女發生婚外情與市民經濟的關係。第一章為緒論，將會疏理歷來學者對《三言》中的婦女形象和婚姻的研究成果。第二章將略述明代的市民經濟背景。第三章將會討論市民經濟下從商的實際情況。第四章會建基於商人經商的情況，分析明代商人妻子的心理狀態。第五章會探討明代的城市環境如何促成婦女婚外情。第三章至第五章之目的在於，結合《三言》中有關婦女婚外情的文本、相關歷史文獻和西方心理學和性學理論，逐步探討市民經濟發展下，婦女承受的心理負擔，然後再討論明代城市環境如何為婦女提供機會發展婚外情。第六章則為總結。

從經典走進通俗 : 論《左傳》至《東周列國志》中「義」的轉化, Wai Lun So

前人研究馮夢龍小說，多是研究其所編的「三言」，雖有研究《新列國志》的論者，但多從其小說家的筆法寫歷史故事的角度出發，又或論述《新列國志》與《三國演義》之間的異同。然而，馮夢龍作為一名小說編著家，同時又是一名《春秋》學者，其投放在《春秋》的心血，同時亦灌注在《新列國志》之中。即使清代蔡元放評點為《東周列國志》，內容上始終依從馮夢龍《新列國志》。

小說在明代以前一直是受文人所攻訐，不少文人認為小說是誨淫誨道的作品，對社會教化有害。然而，作為《春秋》學者的馮夢龍，卻一直致力於撰寫小說、編輯小說集等，甚至將其所學投注在《新列國志》當中。亦因馮夢龍對小說的推崇，使文人開始肯定「四大奇書」等小說作品，繼而研究當中所包含的義理，當中亦包括以馮夢龍《新列國志》為底本的《東周列國志》。

本文以「從經典走進通俗」為題，主要探討《東周列國志》繼承《左傳》的情況，以及馮夢龍如何透過小說敍事的方法，重現經義之所在。惟《東周列國志》與《左傳》之間的連結甚多，本文特以儒家最為重視的觀念之一——「義」作為切入點，討論小說和經傳中如何呈現「義」的觀念，或如何透過評論的方式來體現對「義」的肯定。又，若兩者有所不同的話，《東周列國志》又如何對《左傳》所呈現的「義」有所轉化？這亦是本文重點探究的方向。

金庸《射鵰英雄傳》中「桃花島」的符號化意象研究, Mei Yin Ng

《射鵰英雄傳》乃金庸先生筆下家傳戶曉之武俠巨著，更是「射鵰三部曲」之首，於整個中國武俠文壇中可說舉足輕重。《射鵰英雄傳》以至其續作《神鵰俠侶》中亦多有圍繞神秘莫測、繁花似錦的桃花島而展開之情節。書中一對主人公郭靖、黃蓉相知相愛，為報郭靖殺父之仇，二人結伴行走江湖，先後遇上各路正邪人物，如大金小王爺楊康、比武招親的孝女穆念慈、重情重義的「江湖七怪」、正氣凜然的「全真七子」、身懷絕技的「四絕」、斷腸妖魅「黑風雙煞」、色膽包天的白陀山少主歐陽克等等；郭、黃二人屢有奇遇，亦不乏涉及一個神秘的東海小島──「桃花島」，亦是女主人公黃蓉成長之地。「桃花島」於書中佔不少重要情節，如「黑風雙煞」盜經私奔、「老頑童」周伯通被囚十五年、郭靖及歐陽克拜門向黃蓉提親、三位武學宗師「三絕」比武、郭靖恩師「江南五怪」被殺，然而，至今仍少有文獻對金庸小說中如此不可或缺的一處世外桃源作深入研究或分析。

故此，本研究現以西方語言符號學角度探析金庸《射鵰英雄傳》中桃花島一地於文中所呈現之文學意象。本文將從「桃花島」及「絕境與生機」兩方面解讀，分析情節、人物，透過西方語言符號理論闡釋金庸筆下「東海桃花島」之豐富文學意蘊。

劉克襄動物小說研究 : 以《風鳥皮諾查》、《座頭鯨赫連麼麼》、《永遠的信天翁》為例, Wai Sin Lok

在台灣當代自然書寫的發展中，劉克襄的動物書寫具有高度的評價，本研究試圖針對劉克襄動物小說進行探討。這位自然作家在過去二十多年的創作過程中，不斷探索動物小說的可能性。「動物小說」在劉克襄的眾多作品當中可能不是特別矚目和引起討論的類別，但作家在這類作品當中，表達了文學與自然，人類與動物之間複雜的關係，讓我們看到了劉克襄如何在作品上呈現生命的互動與交織。從一九九一年至今，劉克襄共出版了四本動物小說。本文將以《風鳥皮諾查》、《座頭鯨赫連麼麼》、《永遠的信天翁》三本著作為主軸，探究由動物所引發的一系列有關於美學與倫理的問題。論述方面將首先勾勒過去對當代動物問題的討論，並集中在「流變動物」的概念上；接著聚焦在劉克襄三本動物書寫的小說，分為鳥類書寫及鯨類書寫，闡述作家如何通過小說的美學表現，表達當中對自然書寫的美學與倫理特殊見解。

黎紫書在文學獎項的出色表現受人注目，崛起於九十年代的馬華文壇，她對人性的精鍊掌握顯示了她作為小說家的出色技藝。她的作品反映了馬華文學的不同面向。

馬華文學被外界視為邊緣文學，當中或以世界華文文學角度觀之。研究馬華文學學者的討論主題大多圍繞着馬華文學的身分問題進行探究。文本首先介紹華語語系研究作為新興的學術概念，其去中心傾向，強調了不同地區華語文學體系的主體性，有助重新思考馬華文學的定位─指出馬華文學作為區域文學的身分特徵，如「小文學」等。

本文從「身分」話題開展討論，思考黎紫書的新生代作家身分在馬華文學的特殊性，展現了與前代不同的文學視角。討論她所身處的時代與地域，提供了更豐富的文學土壤和養份，使其書寫題材和技法呈現現代以至後現代性。 筆者選取了黎紫書的短篇小說《國北邊陲》和長篇小說《告別的年代》進行分析，希望通過討論當中的身分問題，理解黎紫書對馬華國族身分的思考。二者所書寫的語境皆不同，前者是對華族的遙遠想像及回應，後者則為作者對其成長年代的記錄與回應。

禪讓與先秦儒家之關係 : 以郭店楚簡〈唐虞之道〉為討論中心, Hoi Tik Chan

禪讓思想，自先秦已見，多載於堯舜之事。而近世出土之郭店楚墓竹簡，內含多種儒家文獻，其中〈唐虞之道〉一文極倡堯舜禪讓之事，直認為「不禪而能化民者，自生民未之有也」。學人據此文而提出各說：或謂〈唐虞之道〉為戰國中期禪讓思潮一時之產物，雖近儒家思想，而其後之儒者實無倡禪讓；或謂是文極重禪讓，顯其不屬儒家著作；或謂儒家重禪，〈唐虞之道〉即其反映。學人不僅爭議於〈唐虞之道〉屬儒家思想與否，而儒家在禪讓之態度亦未有定論。故筆者欲探禪讓與先秦儒家之關係。

本文論述以簡文〈唐虞之道〉為討論中心，分析文中禪讓思想之內涵，再探究先秦儒家代表作《論語》、《孟子》、《荀子》三書在禪讓之態度；其見用本文，為《論語》、《孟子》二書所述堯舜事，《荀子》在〈正論〉之論禪讓者。比較〈唐虞之道〉與儒家三書，乃見禪讓與先秦儒家之關係。

故事主人公雨陽生於一個養羊的家庭。十四歲那年，他家的羊場被政府收回而要迫遷，他的家庭因此發生劇變。他與父親從郊區搬到觀塘市區生活，心裡卻一直惦掛着童年羊場走失的那隻小羊。面對城市生活的壓迫和童年的創傷，他以重金屬音樂作為精神領地，組織樂隊得到生活寄托。同時，他在工作的玩具店邂逅女主人公慕嵐。怎料樂隊受「活化工廈」計劃影響而解散，而租住的工廈單位亦被地政署發現，他面臨第二次無家可歸的慘況。

面對種種壓迫，他最終又能找回那隻走失的小羊嗎 ？

簡言之，〈影子〉是一部敘述「影子」如何存在於父子關係間的短篇小說。敘述者「我」生於一個平凡的家庭，父親的性格與行為卻笨拙得不平凡，於是「我」以嘲諷他為逸樂，同時希望自己成長以後，能夠擺脫父親不良性格的影子，將自己，以致自己的下一代，導離上一代的牽絆；可是，「我」卻在過程中發現，自己兒子承接了自身的世故和涼薄，也正是自己的影子，使「我」在力圖改變之下顯得十分乏力。終究，努力是努力，成果是成果，就像人生中更多的別的事情一樣。

文中所謂的「影子」，就是隱含了一代父子的關係當中父對子的薰陶，而這種影響卻又不僅僅限於一代之中。當一代兒子成長為父親以後，其對待兒子，又或是教育兒子的方法，或多或少會受到自己成長過程的陶染，這樣代代傳繼的效應，又恰似影子一般，是必然會發生的。

This thesis explores how Shakespeare was used by Antebellum American writers to frame slave revolts as either criminal or revolutionary. By specifically addressing The Confessions of Nat Turner by Thomas R. Gray and "The Heroic Slave" by Frederick Douglass, this paper looks at the way invocations of Shakespeare framed depictions of black violence. At a moment when what it means to be American was questioned, American writers like Gray and Douglass turned to Shakespeare and the British roots of the English language in order to structure their respective arguments. Carol Clover defined a Final Girl as a stereotype of the pure, virginal sole survivor in 1980’s slasher films such as Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Halloween. But does this representation hold up in 2016 films? Because the horror genre is so broad today, it’s almost impossible to nail down a certain stereotype of the genre, if there even is one. Fashion in the Renaissance became intensely political, highly gendered, and anatomized (i.e. emphasizing human anatomy rather than masking it). Court culture placed a particular emphasis on the body of the courtier, as skills such as dancing and dressing fashionably became crucial to political success in states throughout Europe. In sixteenth-century Florence, the Medici attempted to install a duchy in what was at the time a republican city (with strong republican heritage). Florentine fears of foreign domination and resentment towards non-republican forms of government made the Medici’s task nearly impossible. "In this article I addressed the nature of missiology and missiological research. Missiology is like a dynamic river that can “flow” with any academic discipline examining human behavior “to expand missiological theory and applications and to extend the mission Dei” (Elliston 2011:112). Theological research as a stand-alone research method may or may not serve missiological purposes; however, missiology and theology are related disciplines. This same rational does not apply to the social sciences and missiology. Missiology can benefit enormously from a social science approach to research but may be paralyzed by utilizing social science research as a whole package."

"My plan for this survey is to create a self-administered questionnaire. What makes this a preferred method of research is that it can be conducted quickly using a drop-and-collect technique by national church leaders sending the survey packets to local church leaders to then distribute to willing participants. Self-administered questionnaires are relatively inexpensive and respondents are not influenced by the interviewer or her bias. This dissertation provides an investigation of British provincial cello playing in the lateeighteenth and early-nineteenth centuries through a comprehensive examination of the biographical histories and the pedagogical outputs of the cellists and cello treatise authors, Johann Georg Christoph Schetky (1737–1824), Joseph Reinagle (1752–1825) and John Gunn (c.1765–1823). Through re-evaluation and analysis of the biographical profiles of Schetky, Reinagle and Gunn, in combination with a contextual review of their cello treatises, a provincial trend in British cello treatise authorship has been revealed.
