"While Benezet's antislavery influence touched many individuals, both inside and beyond Quaker circles, the power and efficacy of his influence can be seen most succinctly in the lives of three British antislavery activists, Granville Sharp, John Wesley and Thomas Clarkson. These three comprise a powerful and multifaceted voice from the latter part of the eighteenth century into the 1830s. Sharp represents a voice that reached the law courts and changed the legal position in England. Wesley became a prophetic voice to the mushrooming evangelical movement in England and America. จามเป็นชนชาติเก่าแก่มีถิ่นฐานดั้งเดิมอยู่ในเขตภาคกลางจนถึง ตอนล่างของประเทศเวียดนามในปัจจุบันมีอาณาจักรของตนเองคือจัมปา ชาวจามเริ่มรับนับถืออิสลามเมื่อราวคริสต์ศตวรรษที่ 11 ภายหลังเมื่ออาณาจักร จัมปาถูกรุกรานจากเวียดนาม ชาวจามได้อพยพลี้ภัยเข้ามาโดยตั้งถิ่นฐานในประเทศรอบข้างรวมทั้งในประเทศไทยตั้งแต่ในสมัยอยุธยาตั้งชุมชนของตนเองเรียกว่า "ปทาคูจาม" ตั้งอยู่ทางตอนใต้ของเกาะเมืองอยุธยาที่เรียกว่า "ปากคลองคูจาม" ชาวจามบางกลุ่มเข้ารับราชการในกรมอาสาจามมีบทบาท ด้านการรบทางเรือ เมื่อกรุงศรีอยุธยาเสียแก่ข้าศึกมุสลิมชาวจามได้อพยพลง มาตั้งถิ่นฐานในกรุงเทพมหานครแถบปากคลองนางหงษ์ ชุมชนขยายใหญ่ขึ้น ภายหลังเรียกขานในนาม "ชุมชนบ้านครัว"

The author explores the use of documentary film techniques in Carlos Saura's "Deprisa, deprisa," or "Hurry, Hurry." The movie was made in Spain in 1980 during a period of rising crime and was part of a genre of films that depicted "cops and robbers." The movie features young people in the outskirts of Madrid who felt it was easier to steal things than work for them. The author explores the historical context of the movie's time period and analyzes the effect of Spain's political uncertainty after Franco's death.

The Korean Christianity has been influenced by the American mission work whether its influence is good or bad. This study demonstrates how much the holiness movements in America have changed Korea Holiness churches. A schism among the American Holiness churches brought another one among Korean people; a revival in America brought another one in Korea. A theological change in American Holiness circle made the same kind of change in Korea. Therefore, we might study the Korea Holiness movement in relations with American Holiness movement.
