การกําหนดนโยบายการสอนภาษาต่างประเทศขึ้นอยู่กับปัจจัยหลายอย่าง เช่น สภาพสังคม การเมือง เศรษฐกิจ วัฒนธรรม ศาสนา ผู้นําประเทศ เป็นต้น การ กำหนดนโยบายแต่ละสมัยจึงมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงเพื่อให้สอดคล้องเหมาะสมกับสังคม สมัยนั้นๆ การศึกษาในเรื่องนโยบายและปัจจัยที่กำหนดนโยบายการเรียนการสอน ภาษาต่างประเทศของไทยจะทำให้ทราบและเข้าใจถึงนโยบายและปัจจัยในการกําหนดนโยบาย การดำเนินการตามนโยบายและปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้นจากประเด็นต่าง ๆ เหล่านี้จะช่วยเสริมให้เห็นภาพรวมการสอนภาษาต่างประเทศต่าง ๆ ของไทยให้สมบูรณ์และชัดเจนมากขึ้น และจะเป็นข้อมูลพื้นฐานที่สำคัญในการวางแผนนโยบาย การสอนภาษาต่างประเทศของไทย งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาในแนวประวัติศาสตร์และใช้กระบวนการวิธีวิจัย แบบวิจัยเอกสาร มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษานโยบายการสอนภาษาต่างประเทศและ ปัจจัยที่กำหนดนโยบายการสอนภาษาต่างประเทศของไทยตั้งแต่สมัยสุโขทัยจนถึง ปัจจุบัน และเพื่อศึกษาพัฒนาการของนโยบายการสอนภาษาต่างประเทศของไทยตั้งแต่สมัยสุโขทัยจนถึงปัจจุบัน

การเรียนการสอนภาษาจีนในประเทศมีประวัติความเป็นมา ตั้งแต่สมัยพระบาทสมเด็จพระพุทธยอดฟ้าจุฬาโลกมหาราช ที่มีโรงเรียนจีนแห่งแรกในจังหวัดอยุธยา จนถึงช่วงกลางพุทธศตวรรษที่ 25 ซึ่งเป็นช่วงเวลาที่โรงเรียนจีนขยายตัวอย่างมาก หลังจากนั้น สถานการณ์ทางการเมืองทั้งในและนอกประเทศทําให้โรงเรียนจีนถูก ควบคุมอย่างเข้มงวด เมื่อสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 ยุติลง โรงเรียนจีนในประเทศไทยก็ มีพัฒนาการทั้งในด้านขึ้นและลงตามปัจจัยทางการเมืองในแต่ละช่วงเวลา จน พ.ศ. 2535 เมื่อกระทรวงศึกษาธิการมีประกาศให้ ภาษาจีนกลางมีสถานะเท่ากับภาษาอังกฤษ และภาษาต่างประเทศ อื่น ๆ ที่สอนอยู่ในโรงเรียนไทยทั่วไป ตั้งแต่นั้นการศึกษาภาษาจีนใน ประเทศไทยก็ได้รับความนิยมมากขึ้นรองจากภาษาอังกฤษ และมี การเรียนการสอนในทุกระดับตั้งแต่ระดับอนุบาลจนถึงระดับอุดมศึกษา

การเรียนภาษาเป็นพื้นฐานที่ดีของการศึกษาวิทยาการต่างๆ งานด้านการศึกษาภาษาญี่ปุ่นในประเทศไทยจัดว่าประสบ ผลสำเร็จพอสมควรและได้รับการสนับสนุนจากรัฐบาลญี่ปุ่นอย่าง ต่อเนื่องทั้งจากเจแปนฟาวน์เดชั่น Japan International Agency (JICA) และกระทรวงศึกษาและวิทยาศาสตร์ การศึกษาภาษาญี่ปุ่นเริ่มภายหลังการศึกษาภาษาฝรั่งเศส และเยอรมัน แต่สภาพโลกปัจจุบัน ฝรั่งเศสและเยอรมันมีบทบาท ลดลงอย่างมากในเอเชีย อีกทั้งประเทศญี่ปุ่นมีระยะทางใกล้กว่า การศึกษาภาษาญี่ปุ่นจึงเจริญขึ้นอย่างมาก ปัจจุบันมีผู้สอบเข้า มหาวิทยาลัยเลือกวิชาภาษาญี่ปุ่นมากกว่าภาษาเยอรมัน การ ปรับปรุงคุณภาพของการศึกษาภาษาที่มีความต้องการทางสังคมสูง จึงเป็นสิ่งที่จำเป็นอย่างยิ่ง

การเรียนการสอนภาษาเยอรมันในประเทศไทย อดีต-ปัจจุบัน-อนาคต, วรรณา แสงอร่ามเรือง

ในประเทศไทยมีการเรียนการสอนภาษาเยอรมันมานานกว่า 80 ปีแล้ว แต่ยังไม่มีการรวบรวม วิเคราะห์และสรุปให้เห็น พัฒนาการของการเรียนการสอนภาษาเยอรมันในประเทศไทยอย่างเป็นระบบและต่อเนื่อง บทความวิจัยนี้จึงมีวัตถุประสงค์หลัก 2 ประการคือ ประการแรก เพื่อรวบรวม วิเคราะห์ และสรุปให้เห็น พัฒนาการของการเรียนการสอนภาษาเยอรมันในประเทศไทยทั้งใน ระดับโรงเรียนและระดับมหาวิทยาลัยตั้งแต่อดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน เริ่ม จากประวัติ กระบวนการเรียนการสอน หลักสูตร การพัฒนาสื่อการ สอน การผลิตบุคลากรผู้สอนและผู้เรียน ทัศนคติและความคาดหวัง ของผู้เรียนและผู้สอน ผลงานวิจัยเพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการเรียนการสอนภาษาเยอรมัน นอกจากนี้ยังศึกษาเกี่ยวกับองค์กรและหน่วยงานทั้งในและต่างประเทศที่ให้ความช่วยเหลือและสนับสนุนการเรียนการสอนภาษาเยอรมันในประเทศไทย วัตถุประสงค์ประการที่สองคือเพื่อชี้ให้เห็นถึงอุปสรรคและปัญหาของการเรียนการสอน ภาษาเยอรมันในอนาคต กล่าวคือ ปัญหาที่ว่า ใครเป็นผู้กำหนด นโยบายการเรียนการสอนภาษาเยอรมันหรือภาษาต่างประเทศในประเทศไทย โดยชี้ให้เห็นปัญหาที่เกิดจากความเข้าใจหรือการตีความที่แตกต่างกันในเรื่องการเน้นผู้เรียนเป็นศูนย์กลางใน พระราชบัญญัติปฏิรูปการศึกษาของไทยในปัจจุบันที่ส่งผลกระทบ ทางอ้อมต่อการเรียนการสอนภาษาเยอรมันในด้านการกำหนดเป้าหมายและการปรับปรุงการเรียนการสอน ผู้เขียนวิเคราะห์ให้เห็นแนวทางว่าประเทศไทยควรส่งเสริมการเรียนภาษาต่างประเทศโดยพิจารณาจากปัจจัยใด และเรียกร้องให้มีหน่วยงานกลางที่รับผิดชอบในการกําหนดนโยบายของรัฐว่าด้วยการสอนภาษาต่างประเทศในประเทศไทยเพื่อกําหนดทิศทางและแผนงานที่แน่นอนและแจ่มชัดเกี่ยวกับการเรียนการสอนภาษาเยอรมันหรือภาษาต่างประเทศอื่นๆในประเทศไทย ทั้งนี้ เพื่อไม่ให้การเรียนการสอนภาษาต่างประเทศ ในประเทศไทยเกิดความสูญเปล่า

หน่วยสร้าง Es ในภาษาเยอรมัน : การเทียบเคียงในด้านหน้าที่ และความหมายในภาษาไทย, ธนรัตน์ เบญจวัฒนานันท์

ในปัจจุบันหน่วยสร้าง es ในภาษาเยอรมันถือเป็นหน่วย สร้างหนึ่งที่สร้างปัญหาให้กับผู้เรียนชาวไทยอยู่หลายประการอัน เนื่องมาจากหน้าที่ทางไวยากรณ์อันหลากหลายของหน่วยสร้างนี้เอง รวมไปถึงหน้าที่บางหน้าที่ที่ไม่ปรากฏหรือเทียบเคียงกับภาษาไทย ได้เลย อีกทั้งในชั้นเรียนภาษาเยอรมันในประเทศไทยหน่วยสร้างนี้ มักไม่ถือเป็นประเด็นสำคัญและถูกละเลยในที่สุด ส่งผลให้ผู้เรียน ภาษาเยอรมันชาวไทยยังประสบปัญหากับการใช้หน่วยสร้างนี้อยู่ บทความนี้จึงมุ่งอธิบายหน้าที่ทางไวยากรณ์ของหน่วยสร้างนี้เพื่อ ศึกษาหาหน่วยเทียบเคียงที่เป็นไปได้ของแต่ละหน้าที่ทางไวยากรณ์ ของหน่วยสร้าง es ในภาษาไทยเพื่อช่วยให้ผู้เรียนเข้าใจหน้าที่และ ความหมายของหน่วยสร้างนี้ได้ง่ายขึ้น นอกจากการที่ผู้เรียนภาษาเยอรมันชาวไทยยึดติดอย่างผิด ๆ กับความคิดที่ว่าหน่วยสร้าง es มีหน้าที่เป็นได้เพียงคำสรรพนามแล้ว อีกสาเหตุหนึ่งที่ทำให้มีการใช้หน่วยสร้าง es อย่างผิดๆ ของผู้เรียนก็คือความแตกต่างของระบบไวยากรณ์ภาษาเยอรมันและ ภาษาไทย ทั้งสองมาจากตระกูลภาษาที่ต่างกันย่อมมีโครงสร้างหรือ ลักษณะทางไวยากรณ์บางประการที่ไม่เหมือนกันหรือไม่อาจ เทียบเคียงกันได้เลย ด้วยเหตุนี้ผู้เรียนบางกลุ่มที่ยังคุ้นชินกับการ "คิดเป็นภาษาไทย" จะประสบปัญหาได้ในบางครั้ง

In the past, the study of film adapted from literature has focused largely on the question of fidelity. This thesis explores new ways to look at the relationship between literature and film by showing how concepts from the field of translation studies, particularly literary translation, can enrich the study of adaptation theory. An application is made to the case of Spanish novelist Juan Marsé’s work El embrujo de Shanghai, which has been adapted to film by Fernando Trueba and to screenplay by Victor Érice. The purpose of this qualitative research study was to describe and explain the characteristics of an effective professional development model in an early intervention training program. The focus of the study was on particular aspects of literacy instruction that were emphasized during training sessions and trainer and teacher perceptions of the Accelerated Literacy Learning (ALL) program. This study compares the relation between beauty, objectification, and transcendence in two novels: Oscar Wilde's early-modernist The Picture of Dorian Gray (1891) and Vladimir Nabokov's late-modernist Pale Fire (1962). Though written over half a century apart, the works feature similar critiques of the aesthete's devotion to beauty. While Wilde's novel offers an insider's view of aristocratic Decadence in late-nineteenth-century London, Nabokov's reflects his early influence from the Russian Symbolists and recalls that tradition in the American suburbs of the mid-twentieth-century. Both novels demonstrate the trust that many modernists held in the ability of beauty to offer transcendence over the limits …

Let (X₁, X₂, X₃) be a tri-variate normal vector with a non-singular co-variance matrix ∑ , where for i ≠ j, ∑_ij < 0 . It is shown here that it is then possible to determine the three means, the three variances and the three correlation coefficients based only on the knowledge of the probability density function for the minimum variate Y = min{X₁ , X₂ , X₃ }. We will present a method for identifying the nine parameters which consists of careful determination of the asymptotic orders of various bivariate tail probabilities.

Changes in the workforce have led to in an increase in work-family conflict for many employed individuals. Fortunately, many organizations have recognized and responded to employees’ work-family issues through the implementation of family-friendly benefits, such as flexible work arrangements (FWA).

While offering family-friendly benefits is an important step in easing work-family conflicts, the mere availability of such initiatives may not be enough, as research shows that availability of benefits and utilization are only moderately correlated. "Motivation" is the force that drives an individual to perform a certain action. Abraham Maslow (1908-1970), an American psychologist profoundly influenced by the existential and teleological paradigms, expounded a motivation theory that remains precise and replicable, as well as applicable to other spheres of study, including the humanities. Indeed, psychology experts and non-specialists are by and large familiar with Maslow's Pyramid of Human Needs. Moreover, despite the abundance of literary criticism that utilizes Freudian-based theory to analyze the motivations of literary characters, critics have largely neglected the use of other paradigms, including Maslow's. The purpose of comparing two works of literature is to highlight similarities and differences that might provide a greater understanding of the works. When comparing the two works, one can emphasize various elements of the texts, including national or international conventions, periods, genres, themes, influences, culture, movements, or aesthetic choices. At the same time, however, this process may actually distort the way in which one views the works. Global production is challenging industrial production to generate solutions that adequate global production to a local systemic conditions. In some case the challenge consists in producing highly individualised and localised solutions, which require new forms of cooperation with local actors, including local service providers and final users. In some case the level of involvement requested to the new actors is high, they can therefore be considered as co-workers in the production of the final solution and the overall view of the production system should be extended to include them as co-producers.

The Social Dimension In Construction Of Designerly Knowing, Petra Falin

The reflection based on literature presented in this exploratory article aims at understanding the special characteristics of knowing involved in design practice and particularly the yet somewhat undefined social dimension in its construction. Interpretation of the nature of design practice suggests that although designerly knowing is often the kind of knowing inseparable from the knower, it is not developed in individual isolation but as a result from social actions and active processes expanding and transcending personal and organizational limits. The understanding gained through varied social practices is seen as the basis for growth of designerly knowing.
