In 1493 the well-known and controversial Franciscan preacher Bernardino of Feltre gave a series of Lenten sermons to the people of Pavia. On March 11 he dedicated an entire sermon to the necessity of contrition—or perfect sorrow over sin—in the rite of confession. This paper aims to examine recycling as a philosophical concept from a scientific point of view. To understand how one can generate new knowledge in the world of science, a philosophical scientific methodology can be used to answer the underlying questions. The underlying questions in this paper are "What is recycling?, What does "scientific" recycling mean?, what is the relationship between nature and recycling?, and how does recycling relate to society?" According to the Linguistic Relativity Hypothesis, the grammatical system of a language influences the perception and categorization of the reality of its speakers. Gender, as a grammatical category, should have such an influence, too. Gender is a grammatical category found in many languages, especially Indo-European languages. It concerns the categorization of nouns in those languages into groups: masculine, feminine, and, in languages with three genders, neuter. After questioning the conventional distinction between traditional and modern theater in Asia, this essay suggests that it may be more fruitful to view today's live theater traditions as part of a garden of theater culture that includes both native and imported elements and both deep-rooted and recently transplanted traditions. Outside women's studies classrooms, discourses of white masculinity under siege are proliferating with devastating consequences for women and people of color. This study has shown that Nestor Ivanovich Makhno strove to implement an interpretation of anarchism that consciously catered itself to the peasantry's desires. The resulting governmental organization, military structure and arbitrary tendencies of his movement profoundly conflicted ideals of theoretically pure anarchy. These manifestations were, however, in full accord with the peasantry's conception of the valiant revolt leader, which was best exemplified by peasantry's collective memory of the rebel leaders Stenka Razin and Emelian Pugachev.

This paper first examines the realities facing the Russian Jew on the Eve of the pogroms. From the optimism and liberalism of Jewish intellectuals, the decline of traditional Jewish life, and the socio-economic conditions of Russian Jewry, to the roots of popular anti-Semitism, this section provides valuable insight into the condition of the Jewish people who were about to experience the destructive and shattering events of 1881. Next, this paper considers the events of 1881 and the tsarist government's response to these events. The following paper will examine how the breakdown of politically motivated racism easily translated into popular culture. Defining African Americans only as stereotypes allowed for the hegemony that had kept African Americans inferior, to endure into a new era, one dominated almost wholly by popular culture. Divided into three chapters, this paper will systematically demonstrate how historically, politically, socially, and ideologically the African American race has been castigated and prostrated by those in power.
