บทความวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาเซียมซีในด้านประวัติความเป็นมา วิธีการเสี่ยงทาย จำนวนใบเซียมซี แหล่งที่พบ เนื้อหา การใช้ภาษา ชนิดของภาษา การแพร่กระจายของใบ เซียมซีในสังคมไทย อันได้แก่ การแปล การคัดลอก และดัดแปลงเนื้อหาหรือรูปแบบ การ วิจัยนี้เก็บข้อมูลใบเซียมซีจากสถานที่ต่าง ๆ รวมทั้งสิ้น 50 แห่ง ทําให้ได้รู้แนวคิด และคติ ความเชื่อของคนจีนและไทย อีกทั้งยังแสดงให้เห็นพัฒนาการของเซียมซี ในด้านเนื้อหาและ วิธีการเสี่ยงทายจากอดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน

เจารปัญจาฬิกาเป็นกวีนิพนธ์สันสกฤตที่แสดงศฤงคารรสหรือรสรักได้อย่างซาบซึ้ง น่าประทับใจ กวีพิลหณะผู้มีชีวิตอยู่ในคริสต์ศตวรรษที่ 11 พรรณนาความงามของเจ้าหญิง ผู้เป็นที่รัก และเหตุการณ์ที่ประทับอยู่ในความทรงจำด้วยภาษาที่ไพเราะ ชัดเจน และ อ่อนหวาน แสดงถึงความรักอันร้อนแรง กอปรด้วยอารมณ์สะเทือนใจ และความรู้สึกลึกซึ้ง ทำให้ผู้อ่านสามารถมองเห็นภาพและเกิดอารมณ์ร่วมในประสบการณ์เหล่านั้น นอกจากนี้ เจารปัญจาฬิกายังสะท้อนให้เห็นคติความเชื่อและลักษณะเฉพาะทางวัฒนธรรมของอินเดียโบราณด้วย

Chikamatsu กับทฤษฎีศิลปะการละคร (Chikamatsu And His Dramatic Theory), ลัดดา แก้วฤทธิเดช

Joururi หรือชื่อเรียกในปัจจุบันว่า Bunraku เป็นศิลปะการแสดงละครหุ่นที่งดงาม มีเสน่ห์ดึงดูดตาดึงดูดใจผู้ชมทั่วโลก ซึ่งใช้ศิลปะการเชิดหุ่นผสมผสานกับการขับร้องลำนำ เล่าเรื่องราว แทรกบทสนทนาของตัวละครประกอบเครื่องดนตรี Shamisen ซึ่งได้รับการ ขัดเกลาทางศิลปะเป็นอย่างดี นับเป็นศิลปะวัฒนธรรมอย่างหนึ่งของญี่ปุ่นที่ได้รับการอนุรักษ์ ไว้จวบจนทุกวันนี้ Chikamatsu Monzaemon (ค.ศ. 1653 1724) เป็นนักเขียนบทละคร Joururi และ บทละคร Kabuki แนวสัจนิยมที่มีชื่อเสียงในช่วงปลายศตวรรษที่ 16 ถึงต้นศตวรรษที่ 17 เขา ได้เล่าเกี่ยวกับทฤษฎีศิลปะการละครของเขาให้แก่ Hoizumi Ikan ผู้ได้บันทึกทฤษฎีที่ได้รับการ ขนานนามว่า ทฤษฎี "Kyojitsu-Hiniku Ron" ไว้ในบทนำของหนังสือชื่อ Naniwamiyage ข้าพเจ้าหวังว่าการศึกษาอย่างใกล้ชิดถึงทฤษฎีการละครของเขาประกอบกับการอ่านผลงานชิ้นเอกเรื่อง Shinjuu Tenno Amijima จะสามารถเปิดประตูไปสู่ความเข้าใจในศิลปะการแสดง Bunraku รวมทั้งความสามารถในการอ่านตัวบทละคร Joururi ในฐานะที่เป็นวรรณกรรมเอก ประเภทหนึ่งของญี่ปุ่น

บทความนี้ได้นำคำลงท้าย "KANA" "KASHIRA" "DAROUKA" ในภาษาญี่ปุ่นมา วิเคราะห์ความหมายและการใช้ งานวิจัยที่ผ่านมาเกี่ยวกับ "KANA" "KASHIRA" "DAROUKA" ได้เสนอว่าทั้งสามคำนี้ไม่แตกต่างกันทางความหมาย และงานวิจัยที่ผ่านมาก็ไม่ได้เสนอการ วิเคราะห์อย่างชัดเจนเกี่ยวกับการใช้ของคำทั้งสามนี้ แต่บทความนี้ได้เสนอแนวคิดใหม่ว่า ทั้ง สามคำนี้มีความหมายหลักคือ "แสดงความสงสัย" เหมือนกัน แต่มีความหมายขยายที่แตก ต่างกันออกไป ซึ่งทําให้ข้อจํากัดทางการใช้ของคำทั้งสามมีลักษณะแตกต่างกันออกไป นอก จากนี้ยังได้นำความคิดเรื่องประเภทของประโยคมาใช้เพื่อแสดงให้เห็นถึงความแตกต่างทาง ความหมายและการใช้ของคำทั้งสามให้ชัดเจนมากขึ้นด้วย

Alcoholism : Medicalization By The Masses In Post-Prohibition America, Stephen Raymond Patnode

Theses

The medicalization of America is typically presented as a top-down, doctor-driven phenomenon. I argue that in the case of alcoholism, this model leaves out the community-level social activism of individuals who were identifying themselves as members of Alcoholics Anonymous. Any description of the popularization of the disease concept of alcoholism that does not take into account the efforts of these individuals is missing a key element. My thesis attempts to incorporate these individuals into the historical narrative.

The beauty of intercollegiate athletics and the NCAA attempt to control them is that whatever is done, something else follows that will corrupt the solution. In a perfect world it would also produce new and more elaborate levels of corruption. The current case in point revolves around the attempt by the NCAA to mandate minimum SAT and ACT scores and thus guarantee some modicum of brain wave activity in the recruited student athlete.
