To answer the question of how the Jesus film exemplifies media globalization, the author uses a critical review of globalization literature to look at the history of the Jesus film, how the film is an agent of cultural deposition, the technological and cultural influences of the film, the translations of the film, common critiques of the film, and the display of globalization in its production, promotion and use.

In der verworrenen politischen Lage der Weimarer Republik breiteten sich viele bilderstürmerische politische und philosophische Ideen aus, womit das deutsche Volk sich mit dem vergangenen Horror des Ersten Weltkriegs und mit den derzeitigen ökonomischen, politischen, und seelischen Problemen auseinandersetzen sollte. Die sogenannte „Konservative Revolution“ dieser Zeit war einer diesen philosophischen Strömungen. Grob gesagt waren die Autoren und Denker der Konservativen Revolution von ihrem gemeinsamen Militarismus, Antiliberalismus, und Antidemokratismus geprägt, obwohl sie darunter unterschiedliche politische und philosophische Vorstellungen vertraten.

Perceval ou le conte du Graal de Chrétien de Troyes est un poème qui trace le développement d'un des chevaliers de la Table Ronde. Ce poème inclut aussi le récit d'un autre chevalier: Gauvain. Pendant beaucoup de ces épisodes, les deux chevaliers rencontrent et aident de nombreuses filles ou femmes. La fonction de la présence de ces femmes ainsi que ce qu'elle disent aux chevaliers est pluridimensionnelle. Cette étude va alors souligner quelques cas où les femmes ou bien leur discours a une fonction spécifique dans le poème.

La période avant la révolution française s'appelle l’Ancien Régime, système politique en France qui prend fin en 1789, l’année de la révolution. En plus, la monarchie absolue contrôlait le pays de manière despotique. C’est dans cet environnement de tension que Molière, dramaturge français du 17e siècle, écrit Le Misanthrope en 1666. Dans son oeuvre théâtrale Le Misanthrope, il critique les moeurs sociales qui caractérisaient la France de l’époque. Molière évoque un questionnement social qui se voit de manière préliminaire dans son oeuvre. En revanche, De Gouges, qui écrit en 1791, expose des questionnements plus élaborés que ceux de Molière.

Neighborhood Watch coordinator George Zimmerman’s February 2012 fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed, 17-year old African American in a gated community in Sanford, Florida has raised serious questions concerning racial profiling. Although a violation of the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, ample evidence attests to racial profiling’s pervasiveness as a law enforcement tactic in contexts of street-level crime, counterterrorism, and immigration control. Since September 11, 2001, the longstanding problem of racial profiling has both deepened and expanded in terms of the populations targeted. Political scientist Cathy Cohen has characterized the post-Reagan era African American community as caught in “a period of contradictions and advanced marginalization.” Cohen notes that while African American participation in electoral politics has grown exponentially since the passage of the Voting Rights Act in 1965, African Americans are increasingly marginalized economically as well as socially. Some philosophers have contended that racism necessarily involves a binary structure. In the United States, the binary is coded in terms of Blacks and Whites and functions in part in this way: it describes violence as racist only if committed by whites against blacks and prescribes that all such violence is potentially racist. This concept operated during the immediate aftermath of Trayvon Martin’s death in both allegations of racism without strong evidence and assertions against George Zimmerman’s being white that were intended to protect him. Many of the poems are dramatic monologues, which means that they are written in a voice that is distinctly not my own.
