The 1892 meeting of the Kings Mountain Baptist Association took place at Gastonia Church (present day: First Baptist Baptist Church of Gastonia) in Gastonia, NC. The introductory sermon was delivered by G.P. Hamrick. Minutes include extensive advertisements for the American Baptist Publication Society's periodicals. The report on Ministerial Education recommends Boiling Springs High School due to its services for rural and working class students.
