This OER presents an integrated suite of learning resources developed for the core music theory and musicianship curriculum at the University of Northern Iowa School of Music. It provides a more comprehensive symbiosis of musicianship and music theory learning than can be found in existing textbooks, including engaging and progressive video demonstrations and interactive listening and vocal exercises that integrate musical knowledge with foundational musical skills. This workbook is a supplement to Comprehensive Musicianship: A Practical Resource. Each workbook chapter corresponds to the equivalent chapter in the textbook, and is designed to facilitate the exploration and mastery of the concepts presented through a variety of exercises. Exercises contained in the workbook consist of musical analysis and writing drills, presented both in isolated examples and in context in musical literature, as well as the application of music theory concepts through composition exercises. In 1999, a citizen science program for submitting river otter observations was created through the Humboldt State University Wildlife department. In 2017, Jeff and Gilly Black from the HSU Wildlife department were inspired by the public arts initiative by The Art of Fundraising project of England's Dartmoor National Park. In 2019, a special partnership with Ink People Center for the Arts, North Coast Open Studios, HSU’s Art Department, Crescent City Art, and the Trinity County Arts Council led to local North Coast artists decorating more than 100 3-foot-tall otter sculptures. The Joseph Biden administration’s 2022 National Defense Strategy (NDS) establishes the People’s Republic of China as the “pacing challenge” and a priority for the United States, followed by Russia’s “acute” threat in Europe. The NDS also emphasizes the importance of working with allies and partners to address these threats and reinforce deterrence. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the most institutionalized and capable of U.S. alliances, aspires to play a role in addressing both the threat from Russia in Europe and the longerterm global security implications of China’s rise. 30% of abortions were reported to have been performed on married women. 58% of the abortions performed on Nevada residents were chemical abortions. In 2019, Clark County had the highest volume of abortions performed resident women, accounting for 87% of the abortions performed on Nevada residents. 95% of the abortions reported in Nevada in 2019 were performed on state residents. 91% percent of women in Nevada live in counties with at least one abortion provider. Nevada had a total of 8,578 abortions reported by women who had previous births (2020). Nevada had a total of 8,557 abortions reported by women …

The Speculative Artifact was a student publication created for the Graphic Design seminar/studio Critical Issues Studio, taught by Anther Kiley in Fall 2022. The publication features designs and concepts for artifacts of the future created by students. Artifacts include language aids, a sex worker kit, food packaging, a garden pack, style-transferred furniture, a post-taste apartment, a maze sculpture, a personality magazine, animal-human cohabitation, signage, a friend-dating system, coding tech, a transhuman sticker book, and television programming with animal languages
