This lecture is a revision of an earlier speech. In it Chapman reminds ministers that they are a vital member of their community and should strive to be an active part of it. He cautions that they should go out in the community and join in various organizations, but should remember that their religious duties come first.

This is a revised version of an earlier lecture, "In Our Larger Brotherhood." Both lectures are about the need for greater cooperation between churches locally and around the world. It advocates the establishment of and participation in inter-church and interfaith organizations, but emphasizes that these organizations should not become authoritative bodies and that all power should rest in the individual churches.

College Lectures-The Minister Revised, Charles C. Chapman

Charles C. Chapman College Lectures

This is a revision of an earlier lecture. In it Chapman addresses ministerial students and advises them on their course to become ministers. He tells them to make sure they are prepared for the financial, mental and spiritual challenges of the ministry. He also admonishes them to be ambitious in making themselves into an example for their congregation but also reminds them to be humble and use the life of Jesus as a guide.
