SCHMICKLE, whose duties as chairman of the Art Department of Kansas State College have increased until he can no longer spare the time so generously given to us these past six years and more. Professor Schmickle contributed an article "Art and the Modern Mind" to the Spring 1960 issue and joined our Board of Editors with the October 1962 issue. A native of Missouri, he holds the B.
