The 4 Ps Of Marketing In Film: Examining The Relationship Between Power, Perspective, And Product Placement On Consumer Perception, Julia Haddad
Honors Projects in Marketing
In today's society, automobiles are the most used type of transportation and with that comes vast marketing opportunities for vehicles. This paper analyzes the effects of power through point of view in product placement, specifically through automotive advertising. By showing the population movie and television clips both from a driving, 1st-person perspective or an out of car, 3rd-person perspective, after a power priming question, it portrays the relationship between them. Additionally, the data collected …

Behavioral Market Irrationality: An Exploration Of Financial Literacy Awareness, Behavioral Finance, And Financial System Investing, Ethan Kmiecik
Honors Projects in Finance
Since the dawn of recordable civilization, monetary systems have shaped the developments of history. From the Akkadian shekel to the Roman denarius, the Spanish piece of eight, the British pound sterling, and the United States dollar. The wellbeing of the civilization is dependent on the (mis)management of the currency system. While currencies touch the lives of nearly every human, the history, fundamentals, and causational relationships of currencies and their derivatives are not universally known. This paper examines the degree of financial and currency system awareness within the surveyed population and how it varies within the sub-categories of the surveyed population. …

A Historical Examination Of Native American And European Agroforestry, Reed Bryant
A Historical Examination Of Native American And European Agroforestry, Reed Bryant
Bryant University Undergraduate Journal
According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), “Agroforestry is the intentional integration of trees and shrubs into crop and animal farming systems to create environmental, economic, and social benefits. It has been practiced in the United States and around the world for centuries.” However, for many practitioners in the past, agroforestry was not simply an “integration of trees and shrubs into animal farming systems,” nor was it simply a means to produce foodstuffs. For them, agroforestry defined a way of life where trees were fixtures in the landscape which bore many life-giving gifts: fruits and nuts to eat, …

Honors Projects in English and Cultural Studies
This thesis aims to cross examine the philosophy, history, and psychology of power dynamics as seen in literature, teamwork case studies, and parenting styles. Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel Frankenstein defines what it means to be in an unequal power dynamic. This thesis develops Shelley’s story into one of interpersonal relationship philosophy. It is both counter argument and continuation of the cited works. Management case studies support the philosophical claims through comparison of fictional, hypothetical, and real-life scenarios. Over the course of research, an unexpected discovery placed trust-based conflict at the core of innovative team success. This thesis shows the long …
