Nexus is a magazine that began as an insert in the Wright State Guardian student newspaper in 1965 and has since been published semi-regularly. It began only accepting creative writing, but has since expanded to include illustrations, photography and other non-written art forms. Today, it is published in a digital format and accepts submissions from around the country, though it maintains its commitment to the Wright State Community.

This interdisciplinary thesis between the Home Economics Department and the Speech and Drama Department presents a detailed study of Eighteenth Century English costume. Stage costumes were designed and constructed for a production of Oliver Goldsmith's She Stoops to Conquer at Central Washington State College. Patterns, fabric selection, and total costs are considered for the project.

Recommendations include double listing of classes to promote continued cooperation between the two departments.

1. The incorporation of the base into a sculpture; the removal of the base from a sculpture and what effects this has on the piece and its environment.

The Face As An Inspiration In Drawing, Linda Lee Stevens

My primary concern in drawing is the human element. The face has been the inspiration which enabled me to convey this element. These faces (contrived from photographic media) became individuals with the ability to transmit emotions (which are triggered by their human forces). This power of the face has inspired the utilization of spatial relationships and imagery which becomes the total drawing. The magical quality in drawing is similar to the mystical quality of the face - they both provide a spiritual challenge.

A major portion of the Mary Constance Enslow papers consists of her genealogical notes and notebooks. There are copious notes on her family genealogy, both maternal and paternal, as well as notes compiled for other families. Included in this part of the collection are examples of her work as a designer of coats of arms and bookplates, and as a commercial artist. Books and printed material are contained in the collection; much of the printed material is made up of news clippings about a variety of subjects. There is an extensive clipping file concerning the royal family of England. Among …
