Browser Engine System For Dynamic, Query-Guided Synthesis And Injection Of Contextual Session Essence Into Large Language Model Prompts, Abhay Prakash, Sophie Chang

Defensive Publications Series

A system and method for dynamic, query-guided synthesis and injection of a contextual session essence into large language model prompts provide a browser-native solution to computational latency and context window saturation. The system comprises a context gathering module that performs real-time state measurement of Document Object Model mutations and session logging, contingent upon a user-authorized processing flag. A context analysis and inference engine transforms the resulting raw data cluster into a high-density natural language summary, referred to as the contextual session essence, by executing on-device machine learning inference for intent classification and entity extraction. The query augmentation module intercepts user …

Geochemical And Isotopic Signatures Of Ultramafic-Hosted Magnesite Deposit: A Case Study Of The Edige Region (Ankara-Central Anatolia), Betül Koca, Eli̇f Akiska, Zehra Karakaş, Si̇nan Akiska

Turkish Journal of Earth Sciences

The magnesite deposit of the Edige region in Ankara-Elmadağ District of Türkiye is hosted in serpentinite/serpentinized ultramafic rocks, which are mainly harzburgite and dunite. Mineralogical and petrographic studies have shown that ultramafic rocks are composed of serpentine, olivine, and pyroxene with serpentinization preceding magnesite formation. The X-ray diffraction results reveal that dolomite, quartz, calcite, and clay minerals are the main minerals in magnesite samples from serpentinite/serpentinized ultramafic units. Olivine, pyroxene, serpentine, chromite, and iron oxide minerals are also present. Scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectrometry results show that magnesite in rhombohedral and cryptocrystalline forms is the dominant mineral accompanied …

The Lived Experience Of Gay Men In The Generation Jones Cohort, Thomas Stacy Helton Jan 2026

The Lived Experience Of Gay Men In The Generation Jones Cohort, Thomas Stacy Helton

Walden Dissertations and Doctoral Studies

Existing research lacks examination of the interplay between life histories and gay identities within the Generation Jones cohort, hindering our understanding of how individuals navigated the challenges of aging Specifically, we lack understanding of how identity formation, stigma, and historical trauma in light of sociocultural events—including the criminalization of homosexuality, the HIV/AIDS epidemic, and the rise of digital connectivity—shaped self-concept, relationships, and resilience. This qualitative phenomenological study explored the lived experiences of gay men in the Generation Jones cohort, defined as those born between 1954 and 1965. Grounded in social identity theory, it asked how gay men in this cohort …

Polypharmacy In The Geriatric Population, Colleen Laflamme Jan 2026

Polypharmacy In The Geriatric Population, Colleen Laflamme

Walden Dissertations and Doctoral Studies

The project entailed the development and review of a clinical practice guideline (CPG) for reducing polypharmacy in the geriatric patient population. Polypharmacy is associated with increased risk of adverse drug events (ADEs) such as drug-drug interactions, poor adherence to pharmacotherapy, and increased risk of falls. Additionally, polypharmacy tends to increase high hospitalization rates and emergency department (ED) visits. From a nursing practice perspective, polypharmacy worsens patient outcomes and increases nurses’ workload and healthcare costs for patients. The purpose of this project was to develop a CPG with evidence based recommendations on how to reduce polypharmacy among older adults. The practice-focused …

Remote sensing enables large-scale, image-based assessments of river dynamics, offering new opportunities for hydrological monitoring. We present a publicly available dataset consisting of 281,024 satellite and aerial images of U.S. rivers, constructed using an Application Programming Interface (API) and the U.S. Geological Survey’s National Hydrography Dataset. The dataset includes images, primary keys, and ancillary geospatial information. We use a manually labeled subset of the images to train models for detecting rapids, defined as areas where high velocity and turbulence lead to a wavy, rough, or even broken water surface visible in the imagery. To demonstrate the utility of this dataset, …

Improving Lexicosemantic Impairments In Post-Stroke Aphasia Using Rtms Targeting The Right Anterior Temporal Lobe, Sophie Arheix-Parras, Sophia R. Moore, Rutvik H. Desai Jan 2026

Improving Lexicosemantic Impairments In Post-Stroke Aphasia Using Rtms Targeting The Right Anterior Temporal Lobe, Sophie Arheix-Parras, Sophia R. Moore, Rutvik H. Desai

Faculty Publications

Background/Objectives: Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) can enhance post-stroke aphasia recovery. The right Inferior Frontal Gyrus is the most common target in rTMS studies for inhibitory stimulation. However, lexicosemantic processes involve a large brain network including the Anterior Temporal Lobe (ATL). We hypothesize that rTMS targeting the ATL will improve lexicosemantic impairments in people with post-stroke aphasia. Methods: In a Single-Case Experimental Design, three people with post-stroke aphasia with lexicosemantic impairments performed Picture and Auditory Naming and Semantic Decision tasks five times a week for one or two weeks to establish baseline scores. Then, each participant received continuous inhibitory Theta …

Turkish Journal of Earth Sciences

This study documents and interprets bioerosion and encrustation traces on Upper Cretaceous scleractinian corals from the Hajajah Member of the Aruma Formation in northern Khashm Buwaibiyat, central Saudi Arabia. Fieldwork in 2023 and 2024 involved detailed bed-by-bed stratigraphic logging, ichnological assessment, and fossil collection across marl and limestone units. A total of 213 coral specimens with bioerosional features were analyzed, leading to the identification of 10 ichnospecies across 5 ichnogenera, including Gastrochaenolites, Entobia, Caulostrepsis, Rogerella, and Labyrintichnus. These traces reflect a range of ethological categories, primarily domichnia, indicating permanent dwelling structures by polychaetes, sponges, bivalves, barnacles, and crustaceans. The Hajajah …

Police Staffing Shortages, Public Awareness, And Policy Preferences, Hunter M. Boehme, Joshua Mccrain, Scott M. Mourtgos, Brandon Tregle

Faculty Publications

Since the summer of 2020, police agencies across the United States have continued to experience police staffing shortages. The consequences of understaffed police agencies are well studied, but little is known about whether the public is aware of the staffing problem and its consequences for public safety and police behavior. This study presents a pre-registered factorial survey experiment to 3105 US adults, varying the information respondents see on the consequences of staffing shortages (e.g., public safety, police behavior) and the messenger of this information (e.g., police chief, mayor). Respondents are then asked about their levels of concern about police staffing, …

Identification Of A Previously Unrecognized Listric Fault Beneath The Acıpayam Graben: Insights From Integrated Dinsar And Field Observations, Semi̇h Eski̇

Turkish Journal of Earth Sciences

The 20 March 2019 Acıpayam earthquake (Mw 5.7) offers a valuable opportunity to examine the complex seismotectonic behavior of the Fethiye-Burdur Fault Zone (FBFZ), a transtensional structure in southwestern Türkiye. This study integrates field observations and focal mechanism data with differential interferometric synthetic aperture radar (DInSAR) analysis to reassess the geometry of the causative fault. In contrast to previously proposed northeast-dipping blind fault models, the data obtained in this study indicate a southwest-dipping listric normal-fault system centered on the Yeniköy Fault, projecting beneath alluvial cover. Vertical displacement maps from Sentinel-1 show coseismic subsidence up to 5.8 cm and broader postseismic …

Geochemical Characteristics And Ree Potential Of Red Soils In The Seydişehir–Akseki Region (Türkiye), Muazzez Çeli̇k Karakaya, Necati̇ Karakaya, Aydin Rüşen, Cem Saraç

Turkish Journal of Earth Sciences

The karst-type bauxite deposits located in southwestern Türkiye represent the most significant bauxite resources in the country. Surrounding these bauxite deposits are widespread red soil deposits of varying sizes, developed over lithologically diverse rocks. This study aims to investigate the origin of these red soils, which were examined in two distinct groups based on their spatial relationship to the underlying geology. The first group of red soils is found on or within the fractures of karstic limestones, while the second group is primarily located in proximity to ophiolitic rocks. The investigation focused on the physical properties, as well as the …

Abic-Based Surficial Density Model Of Türkiye And Tectonic Implications, İlki̇n Özsöz Jan 2026

Abic-Based Surficial Density Model Of Türkiye And Tectonic Implications, İlki̇n Özsöz

Turkish Journal of Earth Sciences

This study presents a surficial density model of Türkiye derived from the Akaike Bayesian Information Criterion (ABIC) inversion of terrestrial gravity data. By regularizing the gravity field through spatial smoothness constraints, the ABIC method yields optimal Bouguer reduction densities that reflect lateral variations in tectonic architecture, lithological heterogeneity, and upper crustal structure. Over 52,000 georeferenced observations reveal surficial densities ranging from 2.20 to 4.00 g/cm³, with a statistically robust mean of 2.669 ± 0.002 g/cm³ (95% confidence interval), suitable for precision gravity reduction and geodynamic applications. The derived density field delineates key tectonic domains across the Anatolian lithosphere, including extensional …

Paternal Filicide In The Context Of Divorce And Child Custody, Andrea Chase Jan 2026

Paternal Filicide In The Context Of Divorce And Child Custody, Andrea Chase

Walden Dissertations and Doctoral Studies

This qualitative study examined the troubling intersection of parental separation, domestic violence and paternal filicide, issues that profoundly challenge societal and legal frameworks. Although domestic violence and marital dissolution are recognized risk factors for child maltreatment, their role in paternal filicide, specifically when motivated by parental separation, has been understudied. Using a purposeful and criterion-based sampling strategy, cases were drawn from the Center for Judicial Excellence database of children murdered during divorce, parental separation, and child custody disputes. After applying predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria, the final sample consisted of 113 biological fathers responsible for the deaths of 263 children …
