Musnad ʿAbd Allāh Ibn Al-Zubayr Al-Ḥumaydī As An Early Source Of Madanī Isnād: A Source Critical Study, Heba Mohamed Gaafar

Theses and Dissertations

The transmission of ḥadīth has been a subject of intense debate, particularly regarding the authenticity of early compilations. Musnad al-Ḥumaydī is a ḥadīth collection that has not received significant scholarly attention despite its potential to shed light on early ḥadīth transmission. This study critically examines Musnad al-Ḥumaydī by analyzing its structure, sources, and methodology, focusing on its relationship with Sufyān b. ʿUyayna, the primary transmitter of its ḥadīth. By applying isnād analysis and source criticism, this research challenges the assumption that early ḥadīth compilations were unreliable or retrospectively constructed. Al-Ḥumaydī did not simply collect narrations. The study demonstrates that Musnad …

Ai Solutions To The Radiology Workforce Shortage, Andrew B Jing, Naveen Garg, Jiajie Zhang, Jeffrey J Brown

Faculty, Staff and Student Publications

The growing demand for imaging services in the U.S., driven by an aging population and the rise in chronic diseases, has contributed to a significant radiology workforce shortage. Simultaneously, supply-side constraints, including limited radiology residency positions and substantial retirements, have exacerbated this gap. These imbalances increase patient wait times, risk diagnostic delays, and contribute to radiologist burnout. Artificial intelligence (AI) offers potential solutions by addressing three primary areas: demand management, workflow efficiency, and capacity building. First, to manage demand, AI tools can leverage predictive analytics and decision-support systems to reduce unnecessary imaging and prioritize high-value imaging examinations. Next, AI can …

The histone H3 lysine 4 (H3K4) methyltransferase KMT2D (also called MLL4) is one of the most frequently mutated epigenetic modifiers in many cancers, including medulloblastoma (MB). Notably, heterozygous KMT2D loss frequently occurs in MB and other cancers. However, its oncogenic role remains largely uncharacterized. Here, we show that heterozygous Kmt2d loss in murine cerebellar regions promotes MB genesis driven by heterozygous loss of the MB-suppressor gene Ptch via the upregulation of tumor-promoting programs (e.g., oxidative phosphorylation [OXPHOS]). Downregulation of the transcription-repressive tumor suppressor NCOR2 by heterozygous Kmt2d loss, along with Ptch

Baghdad Science Journal

This work studies the concept of En-prime compactly packed (𝐸𝑛−𝒫.𝒸.𝒫) modules. Some properties and characterizations have been studied. Put ₩ is an Я-module and every submodule is En-pure , then ₩ is 𝐸𝑛−𝒫.𝒸.𝒫 if and only if each proper submodule Ϣ of ₩ is cyclic, If ₩ is 𝐸𝑛−𝒫.𝒸.𝒫. ₩ which has at least one maximal submodule then ₩ satisfies the ACC on En-p-radical submodule. The generalization of this idea has been given for S-Acts. if for each family {Pα}α∈λ of En-prime subact of Д with Ѫ ⊆⋃Pαα∈λ, Ѫ⊆Pβ for some β∈λ. An S-Act Д is 𝐸𝑛−𝒫.𝒸.𝒫, if every subact …
