Background: With the rising popularity of e-cigarettes, questions have emerged regarding their broader influence on oral ecology, nutrient absorption, and psychological health. Disruptions in the oral microbiome may alter vitamin B12 dynamics. This, in turn, may indirectly influence serotonin biosynthesis and mood regulation.

Methods: An observational cross-sectional study involved 150 young adults segregated into groups of 50 each as vapers, smokers, or non-users. Streptococcus sanguinis and vitamin B12 metabolism-related variable statuses methylmalonic acid and holotranscobalamin were quantified in samples, along with inflammatory markers interleukin-6, kynurenine/tryptophan ratio, and serotonin. Southern blight, a disease caused by the soil-borne fungus Sclerotium rolfsii (S. rolfsii), is favored by the hot and humid conditions of the southeastern United States, posing a significant challenge to hemp production in Tennessee. Black plastic mulch (BPM), commonly used for weed control, can exacerbate the disease. There is limited information on the effects of straw mulch (SM), known to moderate soil temperatures and moisture, or planting time in disease management. Early-onset atopic dermatitis (AD) affects approximately 10-20% of children in the United States, and emerging evidence suggests potential links between early immune dysregulation and neurodevelopmental outcomes. Limited research has examined whether early AD serves as a specific risk factor for later ASD diagnosis. Guided by life course theory, the purpose of this study was to examine whether AD diagnosed within the first two years of life predicts later diagnosis of ASD among U.S. children younger than five years. Context: Current practice guidelines recommend considering a diagnosis of maturity-onset diabetes of the young (MODY) in patients with diabetes with an affected parent but without typical features of type 1 or type 2 diabetes.

Objective: To test if these criteria apply to a real-world cohort of racially/ethnically diverse children with diabetes.

Methods: We performed a retrospective case review of electronic medical records of youth diagnosed with MODY in a large academic pediatric hospital in Southwestern United States. Cases were ascertained based on the identification of a molecular diagnosis of MODY.

Background/Objectives: Unhealthy lifestyles lead to chronic low-grade inflammation, increasing the risk of colorectal cancer. Few studies in East Asia have examined the association between the dietary inflammation potential and colorectal cancer incidence. Therefore, we aimed to investigate this association further in the Japanese population. Methods: This study included 38,807 men aged 45–74 years who participated in the Japan Public Health Center-based prospective study (JPHC Study). The energy-adjusted dietary inflammatory index (E-DII) was derived from a food frequency questionnaire. Background: Light-to-moderate alcohol consumption has been linked to improved insulin resistance and lower type 2 diabetes (T2D) risk predominantly in females but not males. Potential mechanisms underlying this sex difference remain unclear.

Objective: This study evaluated associations of sex-specific alcohol-associated metabolomic signatures (AMSs) with insulin resistance and T2D risk in US Hispanic/Latino adults.

Methods: We analyzed serum metabolome data in the HCHS/SOL, a prospective, multicenter, community-based study of Hispanics/Latinos, aged 18 to 74 years old, enrolled from four U.S. metropolitan areas between 2008 and 2011. perkawinan yang menghasilkan kebuntingan, kesehatan serta produksi susu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui asosiasi masa kosong terhadap produksi susu yang efek selanjutnya terhadap pendapatan yang diperoleh peternak. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sumedang, Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk

mengidentifikasi kemampuan lahan berdasarkan ketersediaan pakan dan pekerja, untuk menganalisis faktor yang berpotensi untuk pengembangan sapi potong, untuk mengidentifikasi produksi sapi potong, konsumsi pakan, dan pertambahan bobot badan hadian (ADG). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua tahapan: pertama, mengidentifikasi potensi lahan untuk mengembangkan sapi potong; kedua, untuk mengetahui konsumi pakan dan ADG.
