Right-Wing French Media Coverage Of The Rassemblement National’S 2027 Presidential Candidates, Amelinda Sundari, Myrna Laksman-Huntley
International Review of Humanities Studies
The 2027 French presidential election has become a contest over political legitimacy, and the media play a key role in shaping candidates’ images. Within the right-wing camp, Rassemblement National (RN) presents two potential figures, Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella. Le Pen faces legal threats that could prevent her candidacy, while Bardella is projected as a successor to represent RN in the contest. Drawing on framing theory Pan & Kosicki (1993) and Critical Discourse Analysis Fairclough (1995), this qualitative study investigates right-wing French media preferences between these two candidates. Space Modification In One-Bedroom-Plus Units For Generation Y In Bangkok, Thanakorn Taraka

This study examines space modification in one-bedroom-plus condominium units in Bangkok, focusing on the relationship between Generation Y’s characteristics and how they adapt interior layouts to suit their lifestyles. While previous research has addressed flexible housing in general, few studies have focused specifically on how Generation Y modifies space within condominium units to accommodate their needs in the Bangkok context. The study analysed 7,596 one-bedroom-plus units developed in Bangkok and modified by 44 architectural stakeholders to reflect Generation Y's preferences. Religious character education for elementary school students has become a fundamental necessity in responding to increasingly complex social changes. This study aims to describe and analyze the religious character of third-grade elementary school students in Tasikmalaya by considering the diversity of children’s characteristics as the main analytical lens. In this study, such diversity includes differences in emotional regulation, learning styles, levels of independence, and social tendencies among students; however, it does not specifically focus on disabilities or particular special educational needs. Uncovering Barriers And Opportunities In Implementing Inclusive Education In Papua: Insights From A Qualitative Needs Assessment, Nita Harini, Endang Rochyadi, Budi Susetyo, Tati Hernawati, Imas Diana Aprilia

Inclusive education remains a persistent challenge in remote and underserved areas, where structural limitations, sociocultural complexities, and limited professional capacity intersect. This study explores the barriers and enabling factors shaping inclusive education practices in Papua, Indonesia, a region characterized by high geographic isolation and rich cultural diversity. Using a descriptive qualitative design, data were collected through interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis involving early childhood and primary schools in Jayapura. Findings reveal four major constraints: limited teacher competence in identifying and supporting learners with disabilities, absence of systematic assessment procedures, insufficient infrastructure and learning resources, and weak cross-sector collaboration. Representation of women in literary works, including film, are often shaped by gendered constructions that limit their agency, including within the teaching profession in South Korea. Brave Citizen represents this dynamic through the character So Simin and provides a lens to examine how women are represented when confronting gender inequality and hierarchical structures within the school environment. This study aims to explain how the film Brave Citizen depicts women’s resistance through a female teacher character focusing on challenging gender stereotypes in educational settings. This study examines the 49th anniversary speech of the Green March (Masirat Al-Hadraa) as an ideological instrument within the political framework of the Kingdom of Morocco. The research reveals that the historical narrative of the Green March is reproduced not merely as collective memory, but as a strategic mechanism to consolidate monarchical legitimacy and assert territorial sovereignty over Western Sahara. Stand-up comedy can challenge dominant discourses and dismantle stereotypes. This research focuses on an Indonesian female stand-up comedian, Sakdiyah Ma’ruf. Using textual analysis, the study investigates recorded performances available on YouTube between 2014 and 2025. Sakdiyah addresses critical social issues, including religious fundamentalism, terrorism, sexism, and gender-based violence. The study explores how she constructs her comedic persona through narratives of personal identity and social critique, and how she employs humor to negotiate sensitive topics while remaining acceptable to diverse audiences. This study examines the deconstruction of female gender stereotypes through the character Yuna in the game Ghost of Tsushima. The analysis employs a qualitative approach that explores narrative, visual, and gameplay aspects. The theoretical framework draws on Judith Butler’s gender performativity, Marie-Laure Ryan’s digital narrative theory, and Stuart Hall’s representation theory to identify forms of resistance to traditional gender norms reflected in the game industry. The findings indicate that Yuna emerges as an active agent who influences the protagonist’s ideological development, plays a significant role in shaping the overall narrative direction, and avoids visual objectification. The phenomenon of cross-border marriages between Vietnamese women and Chinese men is often reduced by mainstream media to simplified stereotypes—depicting them as victims of human trafficking, impoverished women seeking economic escape, or submissive "imported brides." Such depictions obscure the everyday realities through which these women confront and negotiate social stigma in a foreign socio-cultural environment. Drawing on narrative interviews with ten Vietnamese brides living in different regions of China, this study examines how stigma is experienced and negotiated through everyday survival strategies. This study examines how the Instagram account @tamansarimelawan plays a significant role in preserving collective memory and the identity of marginalized groups through digital archives. The painting Memahami Basuki Abdullah #2 (2023) by Djoeari Soebardja was selected as the object of study using a holistic criticism approach. The work presents a visual representation of damaged land through elements such as excavator-like strokes, gabions, and the landscape of the Sianok Canyon Valley, reflecting the artist’s concern over environmental destruction. This article employs Stuart Hall’s (1997) theory of representation to analyze the construction of The Other in the portrayal of Fagin as a Jewish character in Charles Dickens’ novel Oliver Twist. The study focuses on how practices of representation, stereotyping, and anti-Semitic racism are constructed through language and narrative structure. The main aim is to identify forms of anti-Semitic representation and the ideological mechanisms that shape Jewish identity as an outsider (The Other).
