Looking at the admission standards for colleges in the State of Alabama pre-COVID, during COVID, and post-COVID-19 to illustrate how the relaxed admission standards have leveled the playing field for all students. Hard work has become the priority over ACT test scores. The focus is more on how the skills learned through the media literacy courses, student events, and resources offered at JSU allows one to develop the skill set to understand what sources are credible and …

Climate Change And Sexual And Reproductive Health, Population Council
Climate and Environmental Changes
The Council's Population, Environmental Risks, and the Climate Crisis (PERCC) Initiative tracks direct and indirect links between climate hazards to sexual and reproductive health outcomes, with a focus on extreme heat and salinity. In this brief, we highlight evidence and solutions on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in disaster settings; SRHR linkages with arsenic and highly saline drinking water, fertility and drought; and demographic shifts following disasters.
