Background/Introduction/Purpose: Generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) has entered classrooms more quickly than the evidence base needed to guide its use, and that evidence base remains concentrated in higher education. Comparatively little is known about secondary school business education, a curricular area that brings together accounting, business studies, economics, financial literacy, marketing, and retail, and in which teachers move between subjects whose epistemological and procedural demands differ considerably. Existing studies also tend to treat business education as a single homogeneous domain, or to examine one of its subjects in isolation. The parametric FEA dataset for an automotive involute spur-gear pair in three materials, train an ANFIS, XG Boost, and four-qubit Variational Quantum Regression (VQR) surrogate on that dataset, and compare their accuracy, uncertainty, and computational cost against the FEA ground truth. The study also ranks the three materials using an auditable multi-criteria decision procedure. The gear pair was sized using the Lewis equation, modelled in CATIA V5, and solved in ANSYS Workbench for SAE 8620 low-alloy steel, a Steel Matrix Composite (SMC), and a Low-Cost Iron Metal-Matrix Composite (Fe-MCS). Child welfare intervention in the United States continues to operate distinctly different in each states and community without a full picture of the overall system’s efficacy. Loss-of-function variants of the CHKB gene cause an autosomal recessive disease described as an early onset congenital megaconial (large peripheral mitochondria) muscular dystrophy. CHKB encodes choline kinase β, the first enzyme in the biochemical pathway for synthesis of the major membrane phospholipid phosphatidylcholine. Chkb-/- mice recapitulate the human disease with affected skeletal muscle displaying a decrease in strength, myofiber atrophy, megaconial mitochondria, fat accumulation within muscle cells, and an increase in muscle injury. Determinants Of Success Among Chinese Female Entrepreneurs, Lei Zhu, Orhan Kara, Wei Du, Mustafa Celikten

Journal of Business & Entrepreneurship

This study explores the determinants of entrepreneurial success among women in China, based on data collected from 180 female small business owners. Using an ordered logit model, the analysis examines a range of factors ranked by respondents as critical to their business performance. The results highlight several key factors that drive success, including good general management skills, maintenance of accurate records of sales/expenses, hard work, charisma/friendliness to customers, satisfactory government support, and support of family and friends. Proof assistants, unit tests and numerical cross-checks all terminate on correctness. Novelty is not a property of the artifact; it is a property of the artifact's relation to a corpus, and it therefore requires a separate check against a separate object. The advent of social media has had a tremendous effect on the realms of social interaction and entertainment, particularly in younger generations. As this sensation has continued to grow and intensify, increasing concern has been raised about the potential adverse effects of social media use, including the possibility of dependence and addiction-like symptoms. This study aimed to create a scale capable of measuring social media dependency based on an alternative and internet-specific theoretical model. AI systems depend on human judgment, yet many annotation workflows are either designed for data-science specialists or managed through external commercial platforms. The first approach may demand more technical skills than relevant stakeholders possess. The second can require organizations to transfer data, expertise, and governance to an outside provider. Both can limit the involvement of people who understand what data means in its real-world context. Human-in-the-loop approaches introduce human judgment. Stakeholder-in-the-loop annotation focuses on selecting and organizing people whose contextual knowledge fits the AI application.

This study examines how Moroccan entrepreneurs use crowdfunding as an alternative source of finance in a context characterized by limited access to traditional funding. Based on a qualitative multi-case design, the research draws on semi-structured interviews with ten entrepreneurs from different sectors and regions in Morocco. The study mobilizes Signaling Theory and Social Capital Theory to explore how entrepreneurs build trust and legitimacy throughout the crowdfunding process. The findings show that crowdfunding is perceived not only as a financing mechanism, but also as a way to overcome banking constraints and institutional limitations. This study develops a mechanics-guided surrogate framework for the harmonic response of a simply supported, eight-ply Graphite/Epoxy beam. A shear-deformation formulation provides the physical interpretation, three-dimensional ANSYS models using SOLID186 elements supply the numerical responses, and feedforward neural networks approximate mid-span deflection, maximum axial normal stress and maximum interlaminar shear stress. The applied 1000 N load is evaluated through a 1–500 Hz excitation-frequency sweep; the forcing frequency is independent of the beam's natural frequencies. Dominant marine conservation and blue economy paradigms systematically prioritize biophysical metrics, such as biodiversity or carbon sequestration, frequently rendering the cultural and subsistence values of coastal communities invisible. This study contests these biophysically-centered frameworks by applying a holistic valuation approach to seagrass meadows at the Selayar Archipelago, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. This paper develops a nonlocal bar–substrate medium model to study the axial (longitudinal) response of nanobars embedded in an elastic foundation. Small-scale behavior is represented through a two-phase mixture, stress-driven, nonlocal integral formulation. To reflect the surrounding medium and surface-related size effects, the Winkler foundation and the Gurtin–Murdoch surface elasticity framework are incorporated, respectively.
