Wim Wenders, in his latest film Perfect Days (2023), presents an everyday aesthetic experience conveyed through a visually striking aesthetic characterized by a "peaceful" gaze. This study aims to explore the everyday aesthetics depicted in Perfect Days, which align with traditional Japanese aesthetics, specifically wabi-sabi. The analysis is framed using Todd McGowan's Cinema of Desire theory. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method to examine the subject and utilizes a Psychoanalytic approach for analysis. This study examines Roblox as a digital cultural space that constructs and represents adolescent identity through Umberto Eco's semiotic approach. Roblox functions not only as a game platform but also as an open text comprising visual signs, social symbols, and complex narratives. This studi is based on a literature review from nine prior empirical studies, this research analyzes how avatars, virtual environments, Robux economy, and user communities shape diverse systems of meaning. Purpose: The aim of this article is threefold: to gain detailed insights into academic employees’ experiences and perceptions of human resource (HR) practices; to identify the challenges and opportunities perceived by academic actors in these practices; and to provide recommendations for further research.

Design/methodology/approach: The study involved 17 key informants from Polish (8), Maltese (5), and Finnish (4) universities. Data were analysed using semantic thematic analysis, resulting in a rich and nuanced understanding of the experiences shared by participants.

In civil litigation, strategy is everywhere. Some of it is explicitly envisioned by rules of procedure, but other forms of strategy rely more on clever exploitation of gaps in the rules, sometimes through trickery, surprise, or psychological mind games. The role strategy plays in civil litigation is underexamined, which raises two concerns: first, this lack of attention entrenches strategy by default as a procedural value in competition with accuracy, efficiency, and other procedural values. Background: Ménière’s disease (MD) is an audiovestibular debilitating condition characterized by episodic vertigo, variable degrees of hearing loss, tinnitus, and aural fullness. Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of intratympanic steroid therapy in combination with standard treatment compared to standard therapy alone on managing signs of MD. Patients and methods: Eighty patients diagnosed with MD were randomly allocated into one of the treatment groups. This study aims to evaluate the effect of different withering methods on physicochemical and organoleptic properties of Liberica coffee leaf tea (Coffea liberica) and to identify the optimal treatment. The experiment was conducted using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with five withering treatments, including no withering, room temperature withering for 10 h, air withering for 10 h, oven withering at 60°C for 30 min, and steaming for 2 min, each with four replications. While one-to- one writing tutoring is often viewed as a supportive space for student writers, it can also reproduce racialized linguistic hierarchies that exacerbate anxiety for multilingual students. This article examines second language (L2) anxiety as a structurally induced emotional response to native-speakerism— the ideology that privileges white, Anglophone, native English speakers as the standard for language competence. Teacher Psychological Well-Being (PWB) is increasingly recognized as vital to educational effectiveness, yet empirical studies in low and middle-income countries remain limited. This study investigates the predictors of PWB among senior high school teachers in Semarang, Indonesia, using the Job Demands–Resources (JD–R) model. A cross-sectional analytic design was employed, involving all 290 teachers from six public schools. Data were collected through validated questionnaires measuring job stress, organizational climate, career development, working conditions, and well-being, alongside demographic variables. This study explored the role of third-party interference in achieving marital stability among married adults, examining both its positive and negative impacts. The study identified key sources of third-party involvement, including family members, friends, and professional counsellors, and evaluated how these parties influence marital relationships resulting to stability in marriages. The findings suggested that while third-party interference may provide essential support during crises periods, such as financial difficulties or health challenges, it could also create significant challenges. Resilience and post-traumatic growth play crucial roles in the development of adolescents, particularly when they encounter diverse obstacles in life. The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of religious practices on resilience and experience personal growth after experiencing trauma in adolescents. This research employs a quantitative methodology grounded on a positivist framework. Data were gathered using a simple random sampling method including 218 Muslim teenagers in Yogyakarta, Indonesia who had encountered stressful incidents in the preceding year.
