There are numerous factors that drive adolescents to smoke, one of which is the presence of negative or irrational thoughts related to smoking behavior itself. Such thoughts include beliefs that smoking makes them appear more masculine, more accepted within their social circles, among other irrational perceptions. Improving public speaking skills is necessary to help students build self-confidence, enhance communication skills, and support their education and careers. This research uses a qualitative method where the researcher is the key instrument, with purposive sampling of data sources and triangulation techniques for data collection. This study aims to ascertain the influence of peer attachment and self-regulated learning on the academic flow of students at Muhammadiyah senior high schools in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This study employed a quantitative research methodology. The study sample consisted of 255 twelfth-grade students of the Muhammadiyah High Schools, selected using the stratified random sampling technique. For the measurement, three psychological scales were employed, including the academic flow scale, the peer attachment scale, and the self-regulated learning (SRL) scale. These four causes of phubbing—smartphone addiction, internet addiction, social media addiction, and gaming addiction—are interconnected. The purpose of this article is to develop an instrument that counselors can use to determine the level of phubbing behavior among students in their school by testing its validity and reliability. The steps taken include: (1) determining aspects of the phubbing behavior scale, (2) formulating phubbing behavior scale indicators, (3) formulating phubbing behavior scale descriptors, (4) compiling phubbing behavior scale statement items, (5) testing validity, and (6) testing the reliability of the instrument. This study investigates the potential influence of self-control and self-regulation on Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) among students. FoMO is characterized by an apprehension of being excluded from significant experiences or opportunities. Individuals with low self-control may struggle to prioritize positive behaviors, potentially leading to heightened FoMO. Similarly, a lack of self-regulation, the ability to manage thoughts and guide actions towards goals, might exacerbate FoMO. The purpose of this study was to report on the experience of using Project-based learning (PBL) in the human and social sciences course taught to first year students in dentistry at the Euro-Mediterranean University of Fez. The assessment method involved self-assessment using a questionnaire. The course plan used PBL methodology in face-to-face format as well as asynchronous meetings via Moodle®. The findings showed that students were satisfied while experimenting PBL which creates a dynamic learning environment. Based on the findings, we suggest an innovative neuropsychological framework of PBL encompassing socio-cognitive, socio-emotional and metacognitive domains. This research aims to determine the contribution of learning interest, self-efficacy, peer support, and learning motivation to students’ learning independence. Employing a correlational research design, the study involved 100 students from two different junior high schools located in Malang, Indonesia. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire designed to measure each of the variables. The analysis revealed that each of the factors learning interest, self-efficacy, peer support, and learning motivation significantly contributes to students' learning independence. We collected and analyzed a survey of 1,018 undergraduate students enrolled at a public regional university in Spring 2021, examining pandemic disruptions to education, living situations, and finances in the first year of the pandemic, and their relationship to loan presence and reports of taking out more loans as a result of the pandemic. Over half of students had student loans, and over one-third of them reported that they increased loan debt due to the pandemic. Results revealed pandemic-related academic and financial disruptions increased student debt for some. Students with loans were also more likely to have moved out of …

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, junior high school students tended to be nomophobic due to high smartphone use. This study analyses the relationship between self-concept and self-esteem with nomophobia tendencies in third-grade junior high school students. The approach used is a quantitative approach and a type of correlation research with data collection tools in the form of questionnaires. There were 118 subjects involved who were selected using saturated sampling techniques. Data analysis techniques use rank spearman dan multiple regression. The results show that there is a relationship between self-concept and self-esteem and the tendency to nomophobia in junior high school students.
