An nonself-adjoint Sturm–Liouville problem with two polynomials in nonseparated boundary conditions are considered. It is shown that this problem have an infinite countable spectrum. The corresponding inverse problems is solved. Criterions for unique reconstruction of the nonself-adjoint Sturm-Liouville problem by eigenvalues of this problem and the spectral data of an additional problem with separated boundary conditions are proved. This study compares the liquidity and capital of commercial banks in Tanzania. Specifically, the study examines the liquidity and capital adjustment of small, medium and large banks. The study used quarterly data of 28 commercial banks from 2010 to 2019 and applied descriptive and correlation analysis. Results revealed a negative correlation between adjustment in capital and liquid assets to customer deposits ratio. Furthermore, a significant correlation between capital adjustment and liquidity in small and large banks was also observed. We report hymenopteran larval and pupal parasitoids of the Dasiops species in sweet granadilla (Passiflora ligularis J.) orchards in a Peruvian Andean forest. Flower bud and fruit samples infested by Dasiops were collected in three orchards from Oxapampa (Pasco, Peru). In addition, we exposed non-parasitized Dasiops pupae at ground level to verify the presence of pupal parasitoids. We identified Utetes anastrephae (Viereck) and Opius sp. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) on flower buds infested b.y Dasiops inedulis Steyskal. The American mink (Neovison vison) has been introduced for fur farming into several countries around the world. In southern South America, although invasive populations have established in Argentina and Chile, no feral minks have been recorded in the Pampas Biome to date. We report a potentially new biological invasion in Uruguay, presenting observations, pictures and a museum specimen of feral minks in the locality Melilla, Montevideo Department, which probably escaped or were released from a local fur farm. Bergmann’s rule is one of the most vigorously debated ecogeographic patterns but has rarely been examined in Neotropical bats. Herein, I examined Bergmann’s rule in Carollia perspicillata and Artibeus lituratus along an elevation gradient of 2500 m at both inter- and intraspecific level. I measured 384 specimens from collections belonged to C. perspicillata (89 ♀, 102 ♂) and A. lituratus (89 ♀, 104 ♂). The size of C. perspicillata increased with increasing elevation and decreasing temperature, whereas A. lituratus showed the converse pattern. Tlaloc hildebrandi is a small (<130 mm) freshwater fish endemic to Southwest Mexico and is listed as endangered through habitat loss and invasive species. We determine and compare the parameters of the length–weight relationship, relative weight, and condition factor among different populations of the endemic killifish, T. hildebrandi. Fulton’s condition factor (K), relative weight (Wr), and the length–weight relationship were estimated for three killifish populations throughout its distribution range in the highlands of Chiapas, México. The Wr was significantly lowest in fishes where there are higher anthropogenic activities. The somatic indexes and the length–weight relationships for T. hildebrandi are hereby published for the first time in both the scientific literature and databases, such as Fishbase.

BACKGROUND: Clinical evidence suggests that chemotherapeutic agents are associated with neuropathy and peripheral autonomic dysfunction. However, the possible effects of neoadjuvant chemotherapy on intraoperative temperature remain poorly characterised.

METHODS: We evaluated patients who underwent a mastectomy for breast cancer between April 2016 and July 2020. Propensity scores were used to match patients who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy with those who did not, and intraoperative core temperature patterns were analysed in the matched cohort. The independent associations between vasopressor use and heart rate during general anaesthesia in the matched cohort were also analysed.

Studies have consistently shown that vaccination rates against human papillomavirus (HPV) lag far behind other adolescent vaccinations recommended at the same age, resulting in exposing adolescents to unnecessary future risk of infection, and genital and head and neck cancers.
