The premature decline of perennial grass based pastures in southern temperate Australia results in poor productivity and unstable pastures that allow invasion by less desirable weedy species and the potential for soil degradation. The loss of perennial species is attributed to overgrazing arising from an undervaluation of the pasture resource. Resowing pastures is largely uneconomic so maintenance of, or increasing the perennial, is dependent on improved grazing and pasture management practices. The ‘TRAPS’ (Transect Recording And Processing System) methodology has proven to be a powerful and versatile tool for studying the effects of various woody weed control strategies in studies carried out in Queensland, Australia. ‘TRAPS’ allows the tracking of individual woody plants even when destructive control techniques such as bulldozing, ploughing and burning are used. This methodology also allows the investigator to discriminate between plants present before any treatment is imposed and plants recruited after the treatment.

This research investigates a model space invariant known as k-plane constant vector curvature, traditionally studied when k=2, and introduces a new invariant, (m,k)-plane constant vector curvature. We prove that the sets of k-plane and (m,k)-plane constant vector curvature values are connected, compact subsets of the real numbers and establish several relationships between the curvature values of a decomposable model space and its component spaces. The concept of Lie-derivation was recently introduced as a generalization of the notion of derivations for non-Lie Leibniz algebras. In this project, we determine the Lie algebras of Lie-derivations of all three-dimensional non-Lie Leibniz algebras. As a result of our calculations, we make conjectures on the basis of the Lie algebra of derivations of Lie-solvable non-Lie Leibniz algebras.

In 2008 Reichardt proved that the optimal Euclidean double bubble---the least-perimeter way to enclose and separate two given volumes---is three spherical caps meeting along a sphere at 120 degrees. We consider Rⁿ with density r^p, joining the surge of research on manifolds with density after their appearance in Perelman's 2006 proof of the Poincaré Conjecture. Boyer et al. proved that the best single bubble is a sphere through the origin. The study made use of the survey techniques to collect data from the respondents. A total of 50 farmers were surveyed from a population of 262.

The result produced 25 respondents by purposive sampling who were actively involved in the extension programme representing 50% response rate.

هدفت الدراسة للتعرف على تأثير القوة المميزة بالسرعة في المنحدرات على المستوى الرقمي، والقدرة الهوائية القصوى للاعبي منتخب فلسطين لألعاب القوى، وقد استخدم الباحثان المنهج التجريبي، وتم اختيار عينة البحث وهم: جميع لاعبي منتخب فلسطين تحت سن(18) سنة لسباق (3000) متر، وعددهم (3) لاعبين، وقام الباحثان باعتماد البرنامج التدريبي الخاص بالاتحاد الفلسطيني لألعاب القوى تحت سن(18) سنة للمسافات الطويلة، وكانت أهم النتائج: إنّ البرنامج التدريبي لتدريبات القوة المميزة بالسرعة ساعد على تحسن القدرة الهوائية القصوى، حيث بلغت نسبة التحسن(2,88%) بينما للمستوى الرقمي (0,82%).

Based on the analysis of statistical data on the state of transformer angular displacement transducers, the following calculations of probabilistic reliability indicators were performed: failure rate, mean time to failure; the probability of failure-free operation with a sufficiently long operation and gamma-percentage resource; confidence upper and lower bounds are determined, under the chosen conditions of significance, the calculated values ​​satisfy Pearson's χ^2 criterion and therefore do not contradict the experimental data. By analyzing the selected levels of significance, the existence of exponential and normal laws in the laws of probability distribution was revealed.
