The impact of large debris such as loaded shipping containers can cause significant damage to buildings at shorelines. In this study, the building and protection structures are connected with fenders to reduce the impact of large debris. The objective is to study the building with a fender structure that reduces the impact of the shipping container. Next-generation sequencing (NGS) is the massively parallel sequencing technology that has revolutionized biological sciences. Currently, microorganism genomes have been widely studied using NGS. However, the lack of details in the draft or reference genome is a common problem in genome analysis. Therefore, this study aims to develop genome analysis pipelines for eukaryotic and prokaryotic microorganisms using public bioinformatics software and public databases. Leishmania matiniquensis and Leptospira interrogans were used as models for genome assembly and annotation in eukaryote and prokaryote, respectively. Given no gold standard for diagnosis, early identification of TB infection has been challenging. This study aimed to comparatively investigate the prevalence of TB across diagnostic approaches (sputum AFB, sputum culture, sputum genetic test, and chest x-ray) and geographical areas in Indonesia. Managing for sonographic focally thick duct lesions is not established in practice guidelines. Most cases showed scant cells on fine-needle aspiration (FNA). The study aimed to detect any variables that could predict proliferative lesions of the ducts and avoid unnecessary biopsies. A retrospective cohort design was done to analyze the association between ultrasound (US) variables and the outcome of proliferative or non-proliferative ductal lesions, determined by corresponding histopathology or cytology on consecutive follow-ups for at least three years. The key barrier in leptospirosis diagnosis is a lack of available sensitive point-of-care testing. Therefore, we aimed to develop and validate nucleic acid lateral flow immunoassay (NALFIA) and clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeat (CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated protein 12a (CRISPR/Cas12a) platform combined with isothermal amplification to detect leptospires from extracted patients' DNA samples. A recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA)-NALFIA and RPA-CRISPR/Cas12a assay was designed to detect the LipL32, SecY and lfb1 genes of pathogenic Leptospira spp. The RPA-NALFIA targeting LipL32 observed the LOD at 105 copies/reaction. In the development of a bioink for cartilage 3D printing, Hyaluronic acid (HA), Alginate (Alg) were modified into amine-hyaluronic acid (HA-NH2) and aldehyde alginate (Alg-CHO). Magnetic Nuclear Resonance (NMR) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) confirmed the successful modification of HA-NH2 and Alg-CHO. The hydrogel HA-Alg was crosslinked as a result of Schiff's base reaction, between primary amines and aldehydes to form imine bonds. By varying volume ratios, the optimal hydrogel HA-Alg (5:5) exhibited its printability, biocompatibility, and functionality as a bioink for cartilage tissue. The organ doses were measured using the anthropomorphic Rando phantom inserted with radiophotoluminescent glass dosimeters (RPLGDs) to verify the organ doses calculated by Radimetrics program. Objective: To investigate the effects of Welwalk® plus physiotherapy versus physiotherapy alone, in improving ambulatory function in subacute stroke patients with hemiplegia. Background: Colistin use in pediatrics is surging in line with the increase of multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria (MDR-GNB). However, the appropriate dose is uncertain owing to the lack of pharmacokinetics data. In this study, we aimed to characterize the pharmacokinetic parameters of colistin in pediatric patients, identify the factors influencing the pharmacokinetic parameters, and propose optimal dosage regimens. Methods: A prospective, multicenter, population pharmacokinetic (PPK) study was conducted. Some chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps patients undergoing endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS) have unfavorable results despite proper postoperative treatments including oral and topical steroids. Steroid-impregnated absorbable nasal dressing has been shown to improve outcomes of the surgery. In some clinical practices, budesonide-impregnated nasal dressing is used together with perioperative oral steroid but the additional benefits of it are still unknown.
